Theres no option for Preheating as it is enabled by default and cannot be switched of. If you add HPCs to your route or as a destination, it will preheat automatically.
Considering the 20 inch wheels, the lower temperature and the added weight due to the wheels and trim the EQA looks like to be a bit more efficient than before.

Thanks for your videos and ongoing EV education for the masses! I finally decided to drive my Nissan Leaf to 0%, and it was lots of fun, actually. Because of your training in Ninja tricks, I managed to get back home in Neutral after getting the turtle, and then I hit a proper 0% dead battery. My Leaf just went from D to neutral, and I managed to pull up to my driveway with the last bits of kinetic energy.

Been looking forward to this review. Depreciation is quite heavy in UK so perhaps a used one or demo could be on my list next year. Not sure from various EQA forum comments if MB customer support is any better than cheaper marques?
Would be interesting to see how the IX1 edrive 20 performs against the EQA. It should at least match the range even with the smaller battery?
It has preheating if you navigate to a fast charger or you use SPORT Mode

In Norway Its 43k for the 250+ the 350 is 48k but ofc that's the base models.
@@bastorbap In Germany the 250+ with no power or space is 52 plus 8.5 in options if you want what's standard in every Tesla .....
(Edit: They now offer a 6k or so discount straight on the configurator... Wonder why.)
@@NO3V Yea i understand the frustration Model Y RW with smallest battery pack is around 35k Model Y Long range is 42,5K both are base models. So if you want more value for money Tesla is the way to go. I got an EQC 2021 really like it but the range is to low.

So I would think that EQA 250+ will get even better summer range.
EQA 250+ means 400 km+, or 250 miles of range. ??
neither, Mercedes numbers are referring to motor power, it's a relict from fossil times, when 250 meant 2,5l engine

I'd rather get a fully loaded Smart #3 Brabus for 43k euros. EQA is ugly, slow and expensive. EQB sucks just as much. German electric cars are a joke.
