My iPod's home button is broken and I can't hold down the button. What can I do for when I enter the recover mode? I can only physically hold down the power button.

The jailbreak doesn’t work for me. All the sources are blank, it doesn’t ask me to update cydia, whenever I refresh sources it’s stuck on “done packages” and the same thing happened when I install packages, when I install deb files, it’s not installed correctly.

You can use legacy iOS kit to bypass the SIM card. I’m not sure if windows works

It’s currently down, you’ll have to use the sideload method with a computer

Mine just said finding software for 10 min but it’s a 2015 I Mac so I don’t know why it did that, so I stopped the download

@@GoJot ok so I got this to work on my iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4, but when I try it on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s on iOS 6.1.3 after I pressed jailbreak device it ask if my device is in pwn dfu mode and it did not put it in recovery mode, the first question I asked I fixed the issue btw.
@Aiden-bd2xk A5 devices require special hardware. You can’t jailbreak those using this same method

the newest version of legacy ios kit makes you use pwned rfu instead of normal. is there a way to not do this? i am using ipad 2nd gen for reference
iPad 2 needs an arduino kit to work for the jailbreak using legacy iOS kit. Which step are you on?
@@GoJot if it needs the ardurino kit i might not be able to do it😭😭 i have a 3gs coming soon and will try it on that when it comes though
@parmopul what step are you on? At no point in my video did I use an arduino, so you don’t need that
@@GoJoti’m still on the first step. when I try to start the jailbreak it only gives me the option to use krfu or pwned rfu, not normal. maybe it is because it is a newer version of the kit. if so, would it be ok if i could have access to the zip file you used?
@parmopul A5 chip doesn’t work on legacy iOS kit. You have to jailbreak using another method. Search around on CZcams and you will find some guides!
