Love your video! I'm doing the program this summer :) thanks for all the tips, i know it's gunna be hard not to go broke in Disney haha
thank you for the great advice! i will def be getting that free frosty 😋
Great Vid - I am not even going to be DCP and I watched the whole thing
Love this video! Thank you for this! I wasted sooo much money during my first program lol so I'm hoping I'm better at saving this time!!
Ugh me too!! So much money. I literally spent my paycheck the week before I had it 😂😂😬 along with having a phone bill, car, insurance, gas, rent, groceries and student loans ima be running short real quick.
Chels Sees Disney Exactly, it's so difficult!! I meant to add to my comment that I also ate chicken nuggets constantly at the parks 😂😂😂
There are probably going to be holes in my pockets because I’m going to spend my money so fast 😭😭😂 but I’m definitely going to try to save.
Yesss I love the kids meal ideas !!
Impulse buying is my weakness 😭
Is the FL Resident Discount for Universal/ other parks valid if you don't have a Florida ID but are staying in Disney housing?
Yes if you show your housing and your blue Id they give you the discount!
Do you know if i can use the 40% discount at Disney Springs?
40% isn't until the middle of October just so you're aware-but yes- as long as it's a disney store (on the world of disney side of springs). 3rd party stores (like uniqulo and kate spade and all the stuff over that way dont offer 40% off BUT they rather do a cast member discount between 10 to 30%. Some will only do during certain times of the year- for example sephora who does a 20% discount for two weekends during the year-one in June I believe and the other is either in November or December. Hope this helps!
Hi! I'm going to be doing the DCP Fall 2019, where is Property Control? I've heard about Cast Connections but not Property Control!
@@yensiddisney913 Oh! So same building? Awesome!! Thanks! Currently binge watching your informational videos haha
Haha yeah it's the back room! You need to show your blue I'd when you get in there. The last couple times I went I didnt find anything fantastic but if you go once a week you'll find something good! On my last cp I stayed there for 2 hours once and we got so much stuff
If you wanted some more in-depth ways to save - like in terms of grocery shopping I'd love to do some research for you :)
If you are working in merchandise would your phone interviewer be mad if you can’t work on the outside carts due to allergies
No of course not. And if you're cast in merch fill out a medical form and turn it into health services and they'll make sure you go in an inside location.
That I'm not sure. Ask your interviewer what you can do- and then if you do get cast once you find out where you're located if it has an outside location you'll ask at casting when you get here and they will move you.
Chels Sees Disney PS I love ur DCP videos! I have been wanting to do the DCP for a couple of years and I am a sophomore in high school. Do u have any advice for me because I might only get one job but I have a lot of volunteer work over the past couple of years? Is there any way for me to get in if most of my volunteer is in merchandise?
@@kamerynk6064 honestly I'm not sure, it depends. Some people don't get in on their first try. I got in on my 2nd- others take 8 times to get in or even get a web interview. You can't do it as a first semester freshmen anyways. I would recommend either doing it spring semester of your sophomore year or fall semester of junior or wait until after you graduate!
I LOVE YOUR SHIRT!!! That is one of my all time favorite Disney movies! Where did you get it?
Kailey Ratcliffe I actually mentioned it in the video 😉😉 I'm gonna go a merch haul this week!
