It's so refreshing to watch content that is genuine AND looks like a lot of care was put into it. You inspire me every damn day.
Wow, this video makes me want to be a pre-med biochemistry student even more. Thank you for posting this! Such a good video
Thanks, I appreciate it!! :)
Super nice to see a fellow pre-med student sticking to a routine and engaging in campus life. I really miss that since the virus hit. Hope everything is well ;)
Thank you so much!! Hope you’re doing well as well!
wow the amount of productivity in this video is just... hands down!
Becoming a doctor must be difficult. I have nothing but respect for you. I feel that biochemistry is enough for me. I would rather focus on the chemical structures of living things rather than work with patients.
Nothing but respect for you as well! Pushing the boundaries in biochemistry takes a lot of ambition and intellect that I could only dream of.
Brother, I am a student of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Bangladesh. Can I try to study medical science? In Bangladesh there is no scope to study medicine after undergraduate. From Bangladesh is it possible?
I wanna do what this guy is doing. I’m about to be a freshman. This is super nice to see and understand what the everyday stuff looks like. Thank you! I wish the best for you and applying to med school.
Thanks so much, I appreciate it! Good luck with your freshman year!
I'm glad I found this video that resonates so well with me. I'm also a pre-med biochemistry student, but I'm a freshman :)
Wishing you all the best with your studies!!
@@justinle649 Gonna need it, good luck to you too future Doctor :)
I’m a little different then you. I’m a premed kinesiology major. I applaud you as biochem is hard(I’m taking chem courses rn). I hope you do well! Your video was really inspiring!
Thanks! Kinesiology sounds like a lot of fun, hope you do well as well!
Yooo this is definitely the best edited college life video I’ve watched! I’ve been trying to decide on a major as someone who wants to go in the medical field, and biochem is an option I’ve considered.
Looking forward to future vids!!
Thanks so much, I appreciate it! Biochem is definitely a fun option going down the pre-med track :)
I’m doing biochem premed next year! I’m so nervous but this video really helped me get a little preview of what it’s like
cannot wait to see your meal prep videos! need some inspiration for myself from a nutrition expert. XDDD
Hahaha will make some videos soon! Hope you’re doing well!
I am just admiring the amount of effort he put in this video ! Amazing stuff 😌
Thank you thank you!
love your channel keep up the good work! Its refreshing to see other pre meds working hard:)
Thanks, I appreciate it!
He had to go back and pick up every one of those cameras. lol. Respect the grind!
College meal prep guide + a segment on micronutrients
Added to the idea list!
How this reminds me of my pre med days☺️
did you take chem courses in high school? i want to be a biochem major but im gonna go into uni without any chem course experience sooo idk how that’s gonna work out :/
Nope, the only chemistry class I took in highschool was an intro to chem class sophomore year and im doing well! I wouldnt worry about it too much :)
I love this video so much, so inspiring. Also, what is that wallpaper that you have on your MacBook? Its really cute
Killing it! Keep up the good work!
Thanks Danny!
Whatup dannny!
It’s so hard to find videos from other pre-meds out there that I actually decided to start recording some of my own (not that I have posted anything yet). Hope to see you make a return! Loved your content so far & sub’d for the hope of seeing more.

I guess you know who I am haha - and maybe you need to make more videos about your life experiences- ex: study tips, or facts about you, etc.... wish you all the success in your future, Justin!
Thanks for the ideas Mai!
This is an amazing video it makes me so motivated. A quick question if you don’t mind I’m currently in my summer To my senior year in high school and I would like to ask that if you go to a public school as a premed are the classes more
Competitive and strict since there’s more student or if you go to a private school is the classes cutthroat?
Hey there! I’m glad the video motivated you :) That’s a tricky question and I’m not too sure of the answer. Personally, having gone to a public school, it definitely hasn’t been very strict and I don’t think it’s been too competitive. My biggest advice would be to ignore the competition and do your best, especially knowing how cut throat other pre-med students can be. Best thing you can do for both your mental health and your academic performance is focus on yourself and your studies and ignore the people who unnecessarily make a competition out of it. Hope that helps!
Thank you
im sososos excited to start pre med in fall 2021 ❤️❤️
You’ll do great!! :)
Justin Le :D
Biochem is like gates of Hell right of passage en route to medical school...lol
How is ASU for premed? I’m planning to apply there this fall as a transfer. Haha I recognized the background since I visited not too long ago.
I think it’s a great choice in the sense that you have a TON of opportunities available for you in terms of research, volunteering, student orgs, and classes! They also really give you the chance to figure out who you are and develop as a person, which I feel is always important :)
We are pretty much talking the same classes. I’m taking Cell bio too. How are you studying for it?
I’ve just been making flashcards on everything, focusing on the big concepts and any details that are important for understanding those concepts :)
you on that main character ish they be talkin about
Hello!
Im going to study biochemistry for undergrads and i wanna apply to med school. Could you plz tell if its a good pre med major? Thank you
Or like i should go for pharamcy and then med. Im actually kinda confused.
Wt i am shocked when i hear that i can still have chance to apply for medicine after my bachelor's in biochemistry as pre med becuz in Pakistan we have not this type of scenario only on intermediate level.u can apply for mcat nd get into med school i am crying can someone properly guid me😭😭
Thank you for sharing. Which building biochemistry classes are for freshman?
do you do any volunteering during the school year?
Yup, I volunteer at a pediatric palliative care facility!
Where can I find more Justin Le content?
Which is the best and nearest dorm for biochemistry classes?
Can u make videos where you talk about study tips for general chem 1&2, organic chemistry 1&2 bio 1&2 and physics (with calculus) 1&2 I’m struggling with organic chemistry
Will do! I have some videos planned just for that :)
Justin Le thanks 😘
xoxo💋
Hey man I actually have a couple questions if you would be able to answer them for me. I’m struggling on what major to pick and this is something I’m considering but I really need more information on it, so if you could help me out that would be great!
Hey there, I’d be happy to answer your questions! Go ahead and follow me on either Instagram or Twitter and dm me with your questions!
what are some classes you were required to take for biochemistry?
For my school, the only prereqs for biochem were organic chemistry, general chemistry, and general biology!
Do you think I could work 5 -6 hours a day and study medicine?
If you were working 5-6 hours a day during undergrad, I’d say that’s definitely possible! Not sure about medical school though, I’d check with other people to be sure :)
Guess what the almighty CZcams algorithm recommended I watch today.
What college do you go to?
Arizona State!
Did you take the MCAT? How did you do!
Yup! Took it last year, did decently well. I’m actually starting medical school next week! Hopefully I’ll be able to put out some more vlogs soon :)
I’m currently looking for a laptop that I’m going to need when I go to university that I will be majoring in biochemistry. What is needed in a laptop???
Sorry for the huge delay in response! I typically just look for stability in a laptop. Nothing I do is too CPU-heavy, just pretty basic note taking, so anything that is stable is good enough for me! I have a MacBook Pro, if that helps. But I also don’t know much about computers so I feel it would be best to ask someone else for a second opinion!
Bet! No worries, thank you for the feedback! I’ll look more into it but thank you once again!!
HIIII...Iam from india,i want to do bsc in biochemistry and also msc in forensic.i want to become forensic serologist ..is it possible
Hey there! I think that would be possible, but I don’t know much about forensics so I would double check!
Is this UT Austin campus?
Sorry, this is Arizona State! 😅
Oh hey
Whatsup Oscar
What school does he go to?
Arizona State University! :)
What school are you going to?
I go to Arizona State!
When are we hanging out? We hella need to catch up!!(:
Soon hahaha 😅😅 sorry been so busy lately
What did you need to do to be an ATA?
There was an application/interview process that our professor offered to people who did well in the class! :)
@@justinle649 oh thats sick, I would need to see if that would be offered at my university as I always strive to be at the top of my class even studying the irrelevant material! Thank you for the reply
This guy is so cute
Bro major in business/econ plus some science major. Med schools are hot for students who understand business and Econ of medicine
Too late for me now hahaha
I think I know what school this is, don't know if you were trying to hide it lol.
Hahah nah not trying to hide it, it’s Arizona State University if that was your guess :)
Omg my dad went there!!
