Thanks for the info Joe. I had a 95 Impala SS. unfortunately it was involved in a wreck and the damages exceeded the market value so the insurance company totalled it.

There wonderful cars. The impala SS was a separate platform based on the same body frame. If I can find a SS impala to review I’ll definitely do so. Yes they look similar but they have quite a few differences. Too bad yours got totaled! Hopefully you can get another one.

@@Underappreciatedclassics yes true. The SS was pretty short lived. 94-96. Came in three colors only. Black, grey/green/ and maroon. The enthusiasts nicknamed the car, 2 ton LT1. Well my SS got totalled about 10 years ago. I bought a 07 mustang gt with the insurance money, then I sold that for my current 15 MKZ, which I just love. Great videos Joe. Keep em coming. You really do a lot of research!

That Caprice is a 1991 or 1992 as rear wheel well’s are lower. 1993 - 1996 are more open.

It also doesn't have the passenger Airbag, and the speedometer is of the 1991-1993 Caprice

That’s a 91 or 92. The rear wheel skirts only came in the 91 and 92

personally i love this specific model year for this generation of caprice despite its "underpowered engine"

The way the turn indicators "hold" being lit up for roughly double the amount of time as they are not lit when flashing, is that a special flasher or something? Because I want that in my Caprice and I've seen it on different older American cars aswell. But any regular flashers I use just flash fast (like any modern car, not broken bulb fast). It's a long shot, but maybe you or anyone knows.

    • @jpartieda

The old style flashers were like that in many cars. Usually mechanical devices
