Where should my low,mids and highs be kicking for the tone off "The American Gospel"? This cover sounds totally badass with that killer lazy crunch guitar voice.
That album had a really raw un altered guitar tone with really apparent mids. It really depends on your amp which mids you want to push more but I tend to push the low mids a little and scoop the high slightly and bring in a little more treble to compensate. It brings the tone in your face but takes a slight edge off at the same time. Lazy crunch - good description, I like it
