Great review , just got the podium chill bottle at target, I'll be filling this with more ice . Beats my 16oz Poland spring bottle ,even when I froze that whole bottle it wouldn't last to long in this summer weather. The podium chill ice lasts the longest but for my riding this does the job

I'm tellling ya, it is so nice to get a swig of cool water on on otherwise hot day while riding. These things really work and the colder your water is when you start out... use lots of ice... the more reward you'll have later on.
Not quite so fast, you might want to check out the polar bottle. I’ve also reviewed that on my channel. I actually now prefer the polar bottle. Not so much for superior cooling capabilities, but the valve is easier to clean and I like how it works.
I have 3 sets of the Camelbak water bottles; 25 oz (2x), 21 oz (2x older vers), 21 oz (2x new skinnier vers). I must dig'm. Nice test. It's what we'd experience under typical riding conditions. I have to do better at freezing them before a ride (i.e. fill 3/4, freeze and then fill to top).
I was going to go with the 25 ouncer too but then decided it would not fit on my mountain bike... not enough clearance. So had to get this one. Was on a 2 hour ride this afternoon./..92 degree day... last sip was still nice and cool!

The price for the "Camelbak Podium Big Chill 750ml Water Bottle" on Wiggle UK was closer to the price for "Elite Ombra Membrane 750 ml" (as of March 2018). It really does work. Obviously it's not going to keep something refrigerator cold for hours on a really hot day, but it definitely keeps water cooler for significantly longer than a non-insulated bottle. My video proves it.
Much appreciate the comparison! I recently ordered one to replace a (Under Armour Beyond) vacumm insulated water bottle. The Under Armour was great keeping my water "Freezing" for a entire bike ride but @ 901grams full, it was just a bit to heavy for my liking.

Stellar lupus Well, the camelbak won't keep your water as cold, but it definitely keeps water cooler for longer than no insulation.
That will definitely surrfice! ! And I bet it weighs less then 901grams lol. Thanks..

Nite Knight Did you contact Camelbak? I’d think that they would replace it. I’ve had four and none of them have leaked.
