- A very touching prayer of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when He was driven out of Taif, while the people of that town was hurling stones at him. Severely wounded and with an aching heart, the Holy Prophet (pbuh) made these entreaties before Allah, the One he loved most.
Hazrath Khalifatul Masih IV (May Allah shower His Mercy on him) explains the key and subtle points in this prayer, made at a time of great distress. Interestingly, this scenario applies to Huzoor (1928-2003) as well, as He (Rahi) migrated from Rabwah to London in 1984, for the sake of Allah, moving away from his blood thirsty enemies in Pakistan. Hazrath Saab could not return to His homeland till his demise in 2003 in London. May His Soul rest in Peace and bask in the Mercy of Allah and be granted with His nearness eternally !! Ameen.

What a beautiful prayer and Uswa e Hasanah for us but unfortunately, so called Muslims of this age have forgotten everything that Holy Prophet SAW used to do.. May Allah guide us towards the right path. Amen

اللهم إليك أشكو ضعف قوتي وقلة حيلتي وهواني على الناس
ياأرحم الراحمين أنت أرحم الراحمين
أنت رب المستضعفين وأنت ربي
إلى من تكلني إلى عدو يتجهمني أم الى عدو ملكته امرى
إن لم يكن بك غضب علي فلا أبالي ولكن عافيتك هي أوسع لي
أعوذ بنور وجهك الذي أضاءت له السموات و الأرض
وأشرقت له الظلمات وصلح عليه أمر الدنيا والأخره
أن ينزل بي غضبك أو يحل علي سخطك
لك العتبى حتى ترضى ولاحول ولاقوة إلابك
To You, my Lord,
I complain of my weakness,
lack of support and the humiliation I am made to receive.
Most Compassionate and Merciful!
You are the Lord of the weak,
and you are my Lord.
To whom do You leave me?
To a distant person who receives me with hostility?
Or to an enemy You have given power over me?
As long as you are not displeased with me,
I do not care what I face.
I would, however,
be much happier with Your mercy.
I seek refuge in the light of Your face by which
all darkness is dispelled and both this life and the life to come
are put in their right course against incurring your wrath
or being the subject of your anger.
To You I submit,
until I earn Your pleasure.
Everything is powerless without your support
