    THANK YOU!! You made this so easy to understand. In class, I'm always more focused on scribbling everything down as fast as I can, so I don't usually get it right away. You did a better job at explaining this than my professor.

    Thank you professor V. I have been struggling with the concepts in Thomas Calculus. Your videos have helped me tremendously. Thank you so much😊

    At 13:23 why did you write the lower limit as 1 and the upper limit as 0,is it not supposed to be the other way around?

  • @kiahvlogs7678
    @kiahvlogs7678 Před rokem

    why do you add a negative in front of the integral, if the limits of the integration have not been swopped, only substituted?

    what do you do if both sin and cos are odd?

    • @mathwithprofessorv
      @mathwithprofessorv  Před 3 lety +4

      Then you have two options: take out one sinx and rewrite the integral in terms of cosx or take out a cosx and rewrite everything in terms of sinx. There will be two possible solutions, both correct!

      @@mathwithprofessorv one last question what do you do if sec has a negative even exponent does it matter does the rule still apply?

    • @mathwithprofessorv
      @mathwithprofessorv  Před 3 lety

      That you may need to handle differently depending on what the rest of the integral is!
