Freddie, the best ever, Brian May, master quitar, Roger Taylor, drummer exrarodianire. and the most underrated bassist of all time.......John Deacon. This guy was an absolute genius. His bass play was so good but understated in the reviews of all the queen music. In my view, his contribution to Queen is at the same level as the other members. He is as good as it gets.
To my line of thiking, this is one of the most signifiant moment in music history. Queen was by no means the most followed band at that particualr time and were considered my most as just as one of the top bands' to take part in the Wembley extraordianirel. I won't say that the were on the slide but there was not the expectation that they would perfrom to a level that would be remebered for years to come. The perormance Queen delivered stunned evey attendant in the stadium and, to this day positioend them to the very top of musical performances of all time. Records and performances will be surpassed. Ti me is ticking......

I bet nobody in the band suspected at the time that this tour was going to be Freddies last except Freddie ofcourse. Shame as 86 was really the year they restablished themselves as a great live band once again. Its also hard to say if Freddie hadnt been diagnosed with the fatal aids virus the following year which would eventually kill him how Queens music and live petformances would have progressed. Remember a lot of their later material from the Miracle album and Innuendo album especially were achieved because the band were more unified under tragic circumstances. It will remain one of lifes greatest what if questions. Would masterpieces such as the show must go on and Innuendo ever be written if it hadn't been for the sharing of writing credits or would have internal bickering have led to another woeful Hot Space type album. I Want It All however would have still been written as Brian May wrote it the following year which was inspired by the Wembley concerts. We will never know but one thing we do know is regardless of the possible future permitations Queen At Wembley would have remained as one of the greatest shows of alltime.

Who tought John Deacon was the sexiest man ever at Queens glory days? Heæs still a good player, but not as good as Freddies voice deserves. Same goes for Roger Meddows, good at what he does, but The Merc brought him up.
