Went with a bit of a children’s book style for the beginning to really drive the honeymoon lovebirds feel, and of course the ending is… it’s own thing ☺️
Who’s who? (OoA): LarkOath, the brown guy, and DownLilly his mate, the sugar pie honey bunch
Both BroodClan cats
What’s happening?: “brief” summery; LarkOath, enthralled by DownLilly has decided to peruse her romanticly, she is charmed by his determination and falls in love with him.
However LarkOath is quick to grow restless and unsatisfied with his life, and pushes Downlilly and his kits to the wayside to peruse his own worldly desires instead of being happy with the perfect like he had.
DownLilly, distressed by his betrayal goes off with the kits, however upon leaving a dog chased them up a tree during a storm which led to hers and the kits end.
LarkOath realizes he made a mistake in squandering his good life but he’s too late. He blames himself, and believes their deaths were punishment from starclan.

I use a free procreate brush pack called “Petra’s Pencils” they are SOOO GOOOD I’ve made a few edits to them to suit my style and preferences but I’d definitely recommend them! I use “calligraphy pencil is” with some opacity and stability adjustments! Thanks for asking!! 💖

i am truly devastated but am utterly confused what happened with the tree at the end.
Downlilly and her kits were being chased by a dog in a thunderstorm and they climbed up the tree to get away from the dog, but then the tree got stuck by lightning 🥲

EXPLANATION IF YA WANT;
SandFur; a ginger she-cat whom have bright blue eyes and stripes leading to her tail
OarngePaw; an orange Tom-cat with dark blue eyes and silver underbelly
FlameTail: a deep red fading into bright orange Tom. Deep red eyes
SandFur was mates with FlameTail until she noticed he was cheating. SandFur had kits after, they stopped talking. Out of hatred of the father, SandFur gave her kits to FlameTail and his new mate. OrangePaw, being the jerk he is, attacked GingerKit ( his half-sister) . FlameTail was the deputy, so he threatened OrangePaw with exile. OrangePaw ignored the warning and did it again. FlameTail ended up killing OrangePaw without thinking about SandFur. FlameTail felt bad when he realized but said nothing. He felt guilt once SandFur died as well.
