This Afnan or L'homme Rochas?
Why buy it there when fragrance buy has it for less than 40 bucks?
The grapefruit opening of this is just divine and while the note breakdown is pretty simple, the combo is perfect. The grapefruit lasts well into the dry down and when the light cedar kicks in, it smells refined, mature and just perfect. I'd definitely recommend.
I purchased it about a month ago from one of those mall perfume stores, only cause I fell in love with it. I don't think it's a clone but gives off the same vibes. Beast mode performance though.

I bought Turathi Brown which has the same presentation with a different brownish-ambery color to the bottle and it's really close to YSL's Tuxedo.

I can understand the BDC vibes that people talk about but this fragrance to me has become one of my favorites. That grapefruit note as it blends with the amber and woods is really addictive!

The first time this perfume wowed me
I applied it 8 am on my Shirt and when it’s around 5 pm i went to the washing room while the same shirt on my shoulder, i was smelling something really nice that made me think what was i wearing this morning ? LoL. I really appreciate the quality that Afnan are giving us

I've been wearing this as a work fragrance for a while. It's nice. Not offensive, people like it but it's not bdc. Missoni pour homme is closer. I don't have tygar so cant really say.
I so hear ya Dallas when you said you would be content with this, when considering buying Tygar. I got a sample of Tygar and it was deep love at first sniff. Loved everything about it. I think the high price tag made this stamp in my brain that it was worthy of the high price. Then I pulled the trigger on this awile ago and to me, I saved sooo much money. This does the job and I would say to anyone, give this a tiny sniff before you buy Tygar. Hate to stop sales on Bvlgari, they been good to me with some of their good scents, I own Bvlgari Man In Black, as well as Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli...thank you Bvlgari if you reading. Please also Bvlgari be nice on the price of your scents. See what happens when you do that $300+ price tag bomb? You get some damn good clones. And this here should be your internet spanking.

True, Don't know where is the BDC in there, it is an absolute beast clone of Bvlagri Tygar. It fully leans towards the Bvlagri Tygar. Period. Clean Ambroxan blast.
I don't get BDC from this at all. This is more Woodier & mature. And the grapefruit in the beginning doesn't smell synthetic to me. But it's not as fruity as BDC is. Apparently it's a clone of Tygar. Lasts great and gets compliments though.
Tried Turathi Blue from a sample over a year ago, picked up a bottle as soon as it became available. This stuff is amazing. Beast mode blue. Familiar, but unique.
I'm quite sensitive for patchouli but I'm really enjoying this fragrance so far, seems like a keeper for life (already got a backup bottle!)

This is a great fragrance. Not really a clone of BdC, but a great warm weather scent on its own. It does remind me much more of Tygar

@@happygilmore-two different scent. I've never smelled turathi, but asad is spicy, fresh and creamy vainilla. Barber shop vibes to me. I love Asad, I've gotten lots of compliments from it. I know late reply, but just in case anyone is interested.
i love it ots the strongest in my collection.
mine was bottled about 2 months ago and the scent really lasts, the scent changes on my skin after one hour and it smells musky and woody.
the only thing i wish was different was the first initial smell when you spray, to me its very harsh and somewhat synthetic but not that bad. i hope its a matter of time because of how new it was bottled so maybe it needs more time for it to blend and mature
i also have this, so worth it, really cheap and really good bought it for like 27$.. smells like tygar, have that royal tru orange softdrinks smell..

I have tygar and turathi blue. On paper extremely close to tygar. For me not like chanel blu at all. On skin a little different to tygar but not in a bad way. Very very nice perfume and for the money id put tygar aside

I have this one and have had it for months now. I like it, but am not big into blue scents. I will say I find it has more of a middle eastern smell to it compared to the standard blue scents.
I dont like that " typical " middle eastern dry down either.
But these guys never tell you that.

I never thought this had performance until i made my wife wear it and i cld smell her after 8hours and i was like damn, i need to respect this. Now i have a combo of this with silage and its solid. I get lots of compliments layering this with Club Denuit silage and thats gonna be my signature scent for a long time

Got this the other day. I have tygar and bdc. This is as close as its going to get to tygar. I sprayed both on paper and marked them and they smell identical. On skin the afnan vrand does last longer.

Well, I'll be dammed. Turathi blue has me and exceeded any ideas I had. Performance and similarity to Chanel bleu de Chanel is uncanny.
Swip a btl if you can find one. Ebay was able to have a select price the discounter was out of stock.
I can't wait for turathi brown to arrive.
To be honest this is one hell of a juice..if was released from those big horses like Dior,Chanel,price would be at least 5x..quality,scent,performance,packagin..this is 100 to 150usd juice for a fraction of the price..
Never smelled tygar but I get more Dylan blue vibes. Regardless, this is a GREAT fragrance

@@donmaximusful It's a summer scent, with imo more fruity notes on the opening. Not comparable to ogher fragrances I own. The dry down is less heavy on the fruits, and a bit more woody I'd say. No flower scent what I can pick up, but I'm terrible with picking up notes
The grapefruit in this is too prominent. Maybe I need a little more time with this but for now I have to shelf it

This is a superb scent. It really does make BDC redundant if you pick this up you will never go back to BDC. Far richer, deeper and spicier and better performing.
Can't compare it to Tygar but it does smell very similar to L’Immensite Louis Vuitton without that troubling (for me) Sage/Rosemary combo.
I don't really care about a BDC EDT or EDP clone. But a BDC parfum clone, thats what I want!

It's a Tygar clone. Fakhar Black is a good Y EDP clone. You're comparing a chypre to an aquatic blue.
It is only ~70% Tygar. Pretty significantly different. Great scent but it is not that close.
Agree. Tygar is a bit spicier and sweeter. Turathi Blue is more citrus-y. I like both though.
Black Panther by Alexandria Fragrances is closer to Tygar, but again sweeter vs. the spice of Tygar.
Just purchased this one. I'm glad it leans more Tygar, Bleu De Channel is too common. I heard it has elements of Sauvage also. I'm expecting this one to be a good compliment puller.

Ok so I received a 12/23 so my bottle is only 3 or 4 weeks old. Very, very recently bottled. Ooening is a fresh burst of lemon-lime aroma quickly tailed by that juicy tart grapefruit. Then some spice and a soft patchouli touch. Once it dries its just a very basic citrus/grapefruit fragrance. Ive only been wearing it for 2 days while lightly refreshing every few hours to get a real feel for it. So far its just a somewhat sour, tart grapefruit fragrance. Very basic, nothing to get in a twist about really unless you are an absolute grapefruit lover. Bleu De Chanel vibes but not the same because BDC is blended well and a more put-togethered fragrance. Turathi is very, very simple grapefruit. It seems to have strength but it also seems to make your sense of smell go away and you become noseblind to the fragrance. Either that or its weak. So far im not 100% sure. Again my bottle is just 3 or 4 weeks old so maybe it needs to macerate a while to smooth out. As of now id give this one a 7 out of 10.

@@CABOOOS I couldn't wear it any longer. To me just a sour grapefruit bomb that's overhyped because of the decent grapefruit oil in it but I can't wear it it's too much like an air freshener. That's actually what I use it for. My bathroom smells clean but I can't wear it.

Yeah, it's pretty odd that there has never been any good/close Bleu EDP clones. Missoni, Al Haramain/middle eastern brands don't smell all the similar. You're jjsy better off biting the bullet and getting Bleu if you want thay smell.
In my opinion missoni pour Homme is pretty close to bdc edp. Smells the same in the air when someone smells you so… However, this is just my opinion and my experience, yours could be entirely different.

@@happygilmore- on my skin it performs quite well considering the cost. 6-8 hours longevity with around 2hours projection, then it sits on the skin more and more that the time goes. Consider that I don’t go light on the trigger (8-10 sprays total skin and cloths). Very positive experience IMO and it smells very good. Total rate 8/10. Hope it helps.

A few days later, I'm wearing this again. And only this. When I got a bunch of new fragrances, I sprayed them on different parts of my body to check them all out. That was a huge mistake.
Now that I'm smelling this alone, this is very pleasant. And it's very different.
It smells better in the air than it does straight off the skin. The scent bubble is really beautiful. I do still think that blue de Chanel is better, but I feel like this is a good fragrance to have for fun.
You can dress this one up and you can dress this one down. JUST DO NOT OVER SPRAY. I had one spray on each arm, one spray on my back, and one spray on each side of my chest. THAT IS IT. IF YOU GO OVERBOARD, PEOPLE WILL HATE YOU.
When you smell it off skin, You will smell a borderline citrusy BO and heavy incense smell that reminds me of older gentlemen from my mosque. Not a good look. You only need a little bit.

I own both Turathi Blue and Purple, both are fantastic and I wear the hell out of Blue. Never even considered it might be a BDC clone.
Turathi Purple is sold as a women's fragrance and there's no Fragrantica page for it, but it's definitely more unisex. It's sweet and warm and honestly pretty interesting.

MISSONI Pour Homme is a better BLEU DE CHANEL alternative. MISSONI is owned by VERSACE & it's a house that produces higher quality fragrances compared to AFNAN which is a clone house from the Middle East. In my mind French, Spanish, & Italian designer & niche fragrance houses are superior to Middle Eastern houses.
I just bought the afnan and the missoni parfum. Comparing the two, I can certainly conclude: the missoni smells like crap. I only catch sharp grapefruit mixed with cheap synthetic lavender. Reformulated?
