This is the PERFECT start to Hypixel Skyblock, in the new Skyblock 101 series. The purpose of this series is to show how an endgame player would progress on a new profile and also act as a guide to newer players. Some alternative titles for this video include: the Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Skyblock, a Beginner's Guide to Skyblock, and How to Progress in Hypixel Skyblock. This series is inspired by sandiction and Wadzee and Luke TheNoteable Hardcore Minecraft Series, as well as Mumbo Jumbo and Grian on the Hermitcraft server. However, instead of it being Wadzee, Luke, Mumbo Jumbo or Grian, it's actually just GoodGuyKev. I like to make progress in Skyblock, and this is similar to a Custom Minecraft Challenge video, except the Custom Minecraft Challenge is to progress.

Make sure to visit the blacksmith to put extra cheap stats on your armor and sword, for armor mythic or fierce and for sword spicy or epic and you buy a epic wither pet for its one of the strongest combat pets that lvls up via mining skills

Keep creating these videos dude, they are great and I would binge 4 hours of this if there was 4 hours of it.
you could immediately start with a Grandma Wolf pet simply by going to the Spider's Den. a bee pet can also be bought with items purchased from the Mine Merchant. spending your money to get enchanting level 10 as fast as possible is also important-- Experiments go super hard. Ideally, you don't need to be in the Gold Mines or Deep Caverns until you have a Glacite Set and Pickonimbus/some sort of enchanted pickaxe. Melody takes like 10-15 minutes if you can easily comprehend rhythm games-- you can visit her at the same time as getting foraging leveled up + wood collections.

Tips: 1st tier of wand of healing is cheap asf and very useful for early game as you have low amount of hp and the percentage of healing is huge
Agreed, when I speedran a new profile after my previous account got hacked I grinded revs for healing wand and it was able to completely heal full hp with a single use

Very good video! HOWEVER, I think the friends I want to send this to will understand much better and finally play skyblock with me if you also included edited explanations! WHY do you want an accessory bag? WHAT is an accessory? WHY are you levelling up taming skill? Love the video though, see if you can incorporate these mini-lessons into your videos!
get aurora staff early game. ranges from 600k-1.2m but does 25k+ (enchants, bestiary, and levels can make it do 100k+) Also no req
Some decent gear can make it deal 700k
A great tip is to start playing during new years celeb to get a free cake thats worth 500k
So I have to say it's by far not a "perfect" start, it's actually somewhat slow compared to what's possible, but I think it's still decent for a new player aaaaand the editing is kinda goated :D

A few tips, you don't need to enchant a gold shovel anymore. there is a quest in the spider's den for a promising shovel that auto levels. it cost 2 iron bars you can buy from the Vendor. You don't want to level your farming skill early now. just enough to unlock the desert. save farm skill grinding for the Garden island. Best way to hit skyblock level 7 is to go ahead and start grind minion slots by craft the first 5 teirs for each collection you unlock.

Either you skipped like a billion things to level 7 in the video or they changed how much xp is needed for level 7.
i mean level 7 takes about 10 minutes to get. it'd be terrible pacing and not very interesting if i broke down every tiny detail for such an insignificant milestone

i just bazaar flipped, mainly setting up buy orders for potatoes/carrots (orders of 70k) and then when they fill i just set up sell orders (u can right click the filled buy order and click flip order and just undercut by .1 coins) and its about 70k-150k profit per flip. i explain it in the video
