Asus is the king in graphics gaming perfect for video uploading etc apple is the prime suspect for high prices and monopoly one way train collision with the FTC
Still nothing can beat the efficiency of Macbooks.. I would switch away from Apples if I could but at the moment I *need* at least the battery life I'm getting from my M1 macbook..
Agreed but if AMD's spin turns out to be true together with the OLED touch screen with 500nits brightness and weighing more than half a kilo less and costing about half the price of the Mac with a lot of similar hardware specs it will be quite compelling but you're right about the battery life, I don't care if it lasts 22 hours as long as it can last 10 hours and work as well unplugged as on mains without sounding like a helicopter and burning my knees, I switched to Macbook pro 2 years back for all the reasons I mentioned, however and I know this will make all the Apple fan boys cringe I still prefer Windows 11 to Mac OS
@@JimAtHome I need to go 2-3 work days with a power bank. I'd also like my computer not to be a space heater and sound like a jet engine.. and so far only macbooks have achieved that. But I'd much rather run Linux on my computers. I'll wait for the AMD's and Intel's response but so far I'm sceptical.
man... i thought the same. until i used a 2024 zenbook. it still kind of sucks, and i thought i would hate the copilot shit. but damn it really won me over. can get some serious work done with that thing. not gonna replace my m1 max just yet, but i'll be using it when im mobile, its so light.
S 16 seems interesting isn’t it

This laptop will be very efficient. It will offer full day battery and better multi threaded performance (and efficiency) of a comparable Mac.
