Ok so I picked up the Camo screw guide tool 2 days ago (after watching your review) and re-decked an 8x10 cedar patio yesterday. Gorgeous! I might actually pick this up too ; it looked like a good tool. Thanks for the share!
Pros who work with composite/PVC deck boards use 3 per crew- perfect for 20' warped deck boards. Works great in conjunction with Camo Edge Clips on grooved board decks.
That's a neat tool 🙂 . I've never see one before. I used a different leverage system (used a 2x4 to lean against the deck board....but this little tool is neat. I simply love gadgets (haha), especially when they work (I guess I'm an "Inspector Gadget" kind of guy🙂). Enjoyed the video. Make a video of that other camo tool, if you get a chance. Have a fine Friday and upcoming weekend. Don
I started resurfacing our deck today and ran into this problem. Picked this up and it's working great. Do you have any tips for how to handle the last deck board, i.e. where there's no joist for the tool to grab onto?
A flat bar or some other type of pry bar if you’re going up against the house, if you’re ending up at the outside of the deck, screw a scrap piece to the outside and then use a pry bar between it and the deck board.
@@MyDIYAdventures Yeah? Tell that to the prior owner who installed my deck 10 years ago which has zero gap to this day and the rain has no where to go.
@@MyDIYAdventures got an example of deck boards that were laid tight that shows them tight when they were laid and then spaced sometime after on the same place?
Here’s a deck I built at my own house, and then there is a follow up video and you can see the spacing after less than a years…they really shrink up in just a matter of weeks. How to Build a Deck Without Postholes | No Digging Deck | MY DIY czcams.com/video/0pxAyNZ25zQ/video.html
I'll be that guy who points out, you are making a mistake by butting all those boards together without a gap for drainage and swelling. You need a 1/4 inch gap between boards, get a paint stick for a spacer.

Awesome! Glad the deck turned out great!
Agree with you on homeowners, looks like a great tool, but I'm not a pro and can get the Stanley for half the price. Camo products are great.

If I used 3 on my crew, 2 of them would still be in the box LOL

Hello. Can you explain the ways to straighten a deck board without this tools please
You can use a prybar or a block of wood shaped like a wedge to drive it over.
Where's your gap between boards!!???
Never gap treated lumber when installing, they shrink.

Then they must have used a kiln-dried treated lumber, but I’ve only ever seen that that on tongue and groove porches.

Nope, they shrink up within a couple weeks.
get a simple bowrench and throw this junk in the trash
There’s definitely other ways of moving boards without having to buy a specialty tools!
What does the bow wrench do to the flashing covering the top and sides of the joists
