What do you recommend for not ruining the magic? As also a want to be fursuiter I know that you should never remove your head in public only if there is an emergency. But you can still walk in a fursuit, mermaid tail not so much.

I'd be really careful jumping into the pool 'cannonball' style in a tail; you could snap your monofin. Also, any of these that slide against the side of the pool are only good if that surface is smooth and won't snag/rip your tail.

I'd love some tips and tricks on how to get out if it's high to the edge! :O Last spring, I had a show at a harbour, where I went in the water there, and it was about 2 ft. from the surface of the water, to the edge of the lowered platform that I jumped in from, and I had some friends help pull me out of the water, but the next day, the tide had left, so I had to sit on the edge and not go in the water, 'cause with a distance of 4-5 ft. to the edge, they wouldn't be able to get me up! :O Could really use some tips on that for future shows, thanks! :D

The mermaid tails you use for the demonstration are really pretty but they look a little bit too realistic and that's what makes the foot look like it's like really there but I love the patterns on their great job

Would anyone have any advice for how to get into the water from a boat ramp? there is the ramp that is rocky concrete or a old and rusty wood dock that has a good 2 or so feet drop to the water i dont have a pool anywhere around me i swim in a lake.

I'll give you guys a little hint. 1) Mermaids/Mermen don't stand up on their flippers. they do not possess the ability to stand. 2) Nor are they lifted out of the water. Yes they may need a little hand out of the water but not like a dead corps. Other than those little mistakes. You guys are right about how they get in and out of the water. Still a good video though.
