- Dakota is a local barber student who has been shadowing at Klutch for the last few weeks. He was afraid to ask me for a cut! Had to hook him up with a fresh burst fade crop top! Hey Sean - Jordan here (excited weird guy to meet ya at Chicago ABS) - wanted to ask. Could you make a video or consider letting us know , which clipper settings you have on what. In example : "I use the Rebel non zero gapped- heres why" ..., " I use the BaByliss Custom FX with a Taper blade zero gapped " etc. Maybe its a cool idea for a video, maybe not. or if you could leave notes in ur footer on the video
Most of the time not zero gapped at all. I have fusion blades and the stretch bracket on all my gamma stylecraft stuff, taper blades on everything else
Hey sean what is the difference between the Mohawk the mullet and the burst?
Burst is the shape of the fade on the sides, a circle “bursting” out from behind the ear. Mullet and mohawk are similar just a mullet is longer in the back
Yo Sean. So why would you use a 3 or 4 instead of clip over comb ? Like by usuing your guards vs the comb ? What’s the difference
Not necessarily a difference. Clipper over comb leaves more room for error so I like to teach safer ways for people who are new to the game.
@@Seancutshair oh hell yeah. I get that. So do you personally use clip over comb as a go to technique ? Or do you prefer this system ?
Are your slimlines zero gapped? I’ve tried to zero gap them but the two screws are very tight and they wont budge.
They’re not zero gapped. Just make sure you have the right screwdriver and should be able to get them loose.
What do you cut on the top is it a 4 or a 3

It’s space wax but it’s nothing like I was and more like a clay

I’m in school now and I’m getting a little frustrated. It’s geared more toward cosmetology. Me and the other barber in my class aren’t getting a ton of barber training, there’s a bunch of women’s haircuts, blowouts, we wait for the fades to walk in. I literally learn most stuff from you and Bossio and a few others. Once I finish school what’s the first class I should take? I am waiting to purchase a Tomb 45 academy course. Any one I should focus on straight outta school?
That’s normal don’t sweat it. Just soak up all you can on here and put it to practice when you can. Foundations is a great course for you to learn all the basics. Then the monthly academy to hone your skills once you graduate 👌🏻

I thought burst fade is bursted out following around the ear.not high on the front side.
Everybody has their own interpretation. Most of the time it’s in a circle and leaves the c cup. He didn’t want the c cup so it goes a little higher. More of a mohawk
