In electric aircraft it will always come down to battery storage capacity and charge times. There are battery technologies we hear about everyday that are going to revolutionize battery storage but it comes down to manufacturing the batteries. I believe we are still ten years away from any viable vertical lifting aircraft that will be cost beneficial to air travel for 1-4 people. Piperstrol has a training aircraft but after initial pilot training the pilot needs to be trained in combustion engine flight training and this will require additional costs to the pilot because the pilot can’t receive their cross country training in the electric aircraft due to limited range. We are just not there yet. But as a pilot I love the idea of not needing to wait for my engine temperatures to rise to operational levels. This is 15 minutes on a cold day sometimes and this is waisted monies$$$$ in the crapper not to mention polluting the air. I hope they will all be completely autonomous because most people don’t even pay attention when operating their vehicles on roads in two axises, just wait for three axises and them checking their phones for text messages. Oh look I have 10 likes; smash, crash, blam! Gravity is a bitch..

This doesn't work for everyone, but the innovative vehicle I'd like to see out there is a serious long range, low price electric bicycle. A half decent ebike costs as much as my current car is worth and gets maybe 40 miles of range. We're getting closer though and I see a lot more ebikes on the streets than only a few years ago. They're constantly talking about upcoming battery innovations and longer range for electric car powertrains, so it's likely this tech will also make its way into the ebike market too. Wait and see.
I see on this video all this advance and flying vehicles. I wonder if does companies are going to make affordable version of this, so most people could buy them.
