I create music, play several instruments and DJ and honestly have to say that the practice and skill it takes to be a great DJ are equal to those required to be a great musician. Yeah, any idiot can stick on records in a club but by the same token, any idiot can strum a couple of chords on a guitar. To be actually great at turntableism or a musical instrument takes skill and a hell of a lot of practice. As for the drugs comment... some of the most lauded MUSICIANS of all time have done drugs.

The guy at the end who djs is probably the resident dj who just got upstaged by a better dj ... you could just see what an idiot the other dj is when he jumps on and takes half an hour to cue up his song and coz he didn't do it in time, DJ AM winds his track down by turning the power off on the 1200 (and old dj trick when you can't mix in a song)

Let me put it this way Let's see YOU take reggae, club rap, and throw some Green Day in there and seamlessly mix it without having one single trainwreck And then try and get up there and keep a club full of 500+ people dancing nonstop Don't talk shit before you try to do what they do
