Dont think they can realistically fire him as it is. He knows too much, and they cant mess with his brain with Amnestics, since he's stuck in the amulet now, and the next body wouldnt be under the same effect. The most they could DO is lock the amulet up. But he's too useful to keep contained that way, so they have a list of things he's not allowed to do... which grows each time he gets bored.

To be fair, it wasn't ENTIRELY Bright's fault, Clef GAVE him the movie and Gears, who really should have seen this coming knowing Jack's penchant for chaos, didn't report a security breach the MOMENT he heard the suggestion. I like to think it was the reason for that rule in the first place. In the case of weirdly specific rules, they're usually made because someone DID that at some point.

Dr. Bright considered inviting SCP-204 but the nanomachine warrior and the host child would be considered outside help to eachother so he decided against it.
I would LOVE a companion series that follows the "What if" universe where The Shy Guy and Cactus man were run through the Clockworks, and the old man remembered who he was because of the Possessive Mask. I really felt like those stories were building to something bigger.

*Dr. Bright's movie watching privileges were eventually restored three months later after it became clear that revoking said privileges was a bad idea as Dr. Bright ended up becoming bored twice as often which lead him to engage in shenanigans far more frequently, to the point the O-5 council realized it would be easier to predict what Dr. Bright might be up to based upon media he was watching which would be incredibly easy for the Foundation to monitor! Also INDRID COLD was able to prove that monitoring what media he was exposed to was more cost effective than an outright ban! ABLE had his weapons confiscated by GOD until he agreed to follow any rules regarding no weapons should he ever find himself participating in combat sports that ban the use of weapons such MMA, BOXING, SUMO, & ARM WRESTLING!*
Jack's soul left his amulet for a second when Able entered the room

I recently watched fight club for the first time, with the impression that it was immensely overhyped.
Though I gotta say, it was MUCH better than I had expected!
I'm surprised the O5 council didn't notice Bright moving from containment to containment without having a thought about what Bright up to next.
