So sorry to hear this it's deff scary to have help from a medication and to have to stopped abruptly... expecully some antidepressants have a rebound effect of increasing panic attacks following abruptly stopping them.... I've had a few moments of this in my past ( my fault for stopping them myself ) .... I don't use antidepressants now but I've gotten well at doing what my antidepressants do on my own .... I've suffered from serous mental health since adolescent ( major depressive disorder, borderline personality disorder, panic disorder, complex post tramatic stress disorder ,gad) and possible adhd but only had the diagnosis as a kid no one has re brought it up as an adult so not sure .... it's hard to struggle with mental health and have a disease like multiple sclerosis makes alot kf them worse and then if there triggered ms symptoms show up and it's a a whole bad cycle..... I hope you get back on them ... at the moment I take carbamazepine for my mental health and my trigerminal neuralgia and I worry to ever lose the med becuse all my mental health symptoms increase when I'm off of it for to long ....stay strong brother
For many years, I took Tramadol, which also has antidepressant properties. Stopping it was a complete nightmare until I learned that it’s better to taper off gradually. I’ve started taking Tramadol again, but now to manage my MS symptoms 😢. Be patient and remember that it’s temporary, and even better if you can taper off slowly it will help more."
That's really dangerous, coming off those drugs should be tapered and observed. You've been very let down by your doctor, to the point where you should formally complain imo if you feel able.
