It's unfortunate they couldn't even keep collaborating due to all the hate/jealous fans. Yuehua was literally branding them as a talented duo, collaborating on several shows and performances as partners. It was a business collaboration especially since they're both amazing dancers and have great personalities, but people always push a narrative behind the scenes. Glad they're slowly allowing them to be featured on the same screen recently (SDC5). Hoping for more!
@@shraushelke It was a very sensitive time I believe when the hate got a little too much. Although they've been in plenty of shows together, she just recently came back from her kpop career and his was climbing up rather quickly because of his drama (The Untamed) which was the biggest at the time. Fans from that drama did not like him interacting with other celebrities that people would ship him with. And since CX and YB was a collaborative duo they were seen together a lot, which angered a lot of fans, to the point that CX would get these threats. So their company had no choice but to separate them. It was sad, because they're really close friends outside of the spotlight (they've known each other for years as trainees). It was a whole mess, even the other actor who played alongside YB got into another separate mess because of these fans. I'm not gonna delve into that one cus that's a whole different story that you can probably look into.

But I think since its been several years, the controversy died down and the two have been seen in some shows recently. Not as interactive as before, but nonetheless an improvement!

The difference between them is 1 year. For he was born in 1997, and Cheng Xiao was born in 1998.
