I heard someone on CZcams that’s already in his 80s said “I seen Gagarin in Manchester, England and I was standing at the round about and I saw him when he passed by”

The World was one form Yuri Gagarin.
After so many years I like to see how Gagarin was friendly and smilling and it's touching to see how is warmly welcomed in Britain and all over the world even during the cold war. People were amazed by great human enterprise. No matter where he is was from.
The world would be one. Maybe he knew it because he had the chance to look at the Earth from his Vostok.
    A great man.

Brilliant video, look at the adoring crowds greeting a true hero...what bravery to go into space before anyone else. I’ve seen the magnificent statue of Gagarin in Moscow, it’s stunning and he is entirely deserving of it, and more recently the commemorative stamps upon the 50th anniversary.

Thanks for posting this footage. Gagarin was a fine ambassador for the USSR as well as being a brave and modest human being.

Perhaps the 9th March should become Yuri Gargarin Day. What better way for the world to remember this brilliant and wonderful person!
