He was pissed at the ref who was in his way just before he actually got the ball from Tatum. And rightfully so because it happened on the most important possession of the game, but he still made the shot!

Just watched it again, yeah I think he misunderstood the whistle for time out as a tech? Or it could be the ref talking back? Either way nailed the shot.

Isn’t it funny that when you type in JB’s name there’s never any media talking about him doing well.basketball media will completely ignore him until he does something bad it’s wild!
What I love about this game and the aggression of the top two is that they're doing the kinds of things they did in their earlier years, but they've matured so much that now they do it under control, and they succeed three times as often. When Brown makes an aggressive dive to the basket, he's not going to lose the ball or wind up without options. I also always LOVE seeing Pritchard, Hauser, Kornet play because of how they are always doing the right things, no matter how invisible they might be on the play. They stand ready to get a pass; when someone shoots, they move instantly to get the rebound. They are the readiest, right place at the right time bench in the league.
That Tyler ref ... come on, man. If you're gonna get playoff paychecks, you have to pay attention.

the refs was blocking his way to the spot. he had to push the refs away before getting himself ready to shoot.
refs are not suppose to block players, it could throw them off guard and off focus and cause them to miss shots.
refs 100% at fault that's why they didn't blow a tech on brown even when he goes off at the refs.
