I’m SOOO HYPE you recognized the Black Prince, he was kind of wilding but he’s also my historic boy ❤ this is one of my faves and I’m glad you love it too!
When people ask me what’s favorite movie ever I always throw this in there just such a solid story. “How did royals become royal- they took it with the tip of a sword”
Great film and I’ve got to congratulate you on your knowledge, you know a lot of the names from that time. This was based at the start of the Hundred Years’. I absolutely love your enthusiasm ✌🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I think this was a better performance than joker, the joker has had decades of refrence material to learn to play the character this character was all him
Alan Tudyk plays watt, the red head. He is such a sleeper as an actor. He plays steve the pirate in dodgeball. I highly recommend "Tucker and dale vs Evil" if you havent seen it.
10 Things I hate about you and A Knight's Tale are the first two movies I saw with starring Heath back in the day when first in the theatres. He lights up the screen, a magical actor. Along with River Phoenix I wonder what roles they would have had if they were still alive.
Wowwwww i never imagine someone would pick this movie to react , and its you reacting to this 😅 this is one of my fav movie of all time 🔥 Respect brother
The red head plays a character called Walsh in the, literally, most perfect series ever: Firefly. It's only one season long + an epic movie (mostly because when it first aired Fox played the episodes out of order). You should 100% watch it, even if you don't do a reaction of it (please please please do) it is so worth a watch.
The redhead guy, Alan Tudyk, played K2SO in Star Wars Rogue One. Oh, and the Scottish girl is Lydia from Breaking Bad. Edit: eternal respect for the British history knowledge.
An amazing true story movie called Lords of Dogtown stars Heath ledger. It’s about the kids that pioneered skate boarding and why people like Tony hawk exist. (Whose also in the movie)
I genuinely love and enjoy your reactions and your passion for the masterpieces you watch, but what I loved most about this one is your knowledge about medieval England!!! When Rufus Sewell came on screen for the first time, I thought to myself "he looks just like Warwick in TWQ" and a second later you're referring to that show and that you love and rewatch it all the time! That made my day, for I love that period and that show very much. Keep making people smile with your enthusiasm!
Yes Major, Henry II jousted and was prophesized and warned by Nostradamus that he would die in the duel that would split and kill him though his golden helmet. Nostradamus: "The young lion will overcome the older one, On the battlefield in a single combat; He will pierce his eyes through a golden cage, Two wounds become one, and he dies a cruel death."
This Movie has no right being this entertaining. This movie should be corny as hell, but , instead it surprises in new ways constantly !! Makes You want to take on the world.
3:10 Alan Tudyk has been on plenty of shows and movies. He's been in Star Wars, Firefly/Serenity, Resident Alien. I'm not going to list them all. 14:38 If you haven't seen it; you should watch the comedy movie "Black Knight" with Martin Lawrence.
Appreciate you dropping some history lessons. I didn't like it in HS but love hearing it now. Loved your reaction to one of my favorite close to my heart films ❤
If you wanna see a cool rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody watch Pentatonix do their version. It's totally A Cappella which sounds impossible but they get a teeny bit of help from a voice effect. It's amazing.
First thing I ever saw Heath Ledger in was a TV show called ROAR. It was sadly canceled after only 1 season but he was awesome in it. I loved the show and it aired just before his movie career took off.
I think t is so awesome to find a reactor who is into history!!! It was Henri II of France who died in the joust. He w was married to Catherine d'Medici, and father in law to Mary Stewart, Queen of Scotts.
Not only the Heath Ledger is amazing in thius but camera work is on point Those slow mo shots lances getting splintered are just amazing. No other film I have has replicated those shots.
This is one of my favorite movies. Like normally I'm what ever about sports films. But this one was so in my niche and it hits every right note for me!
After you went on the long English royal info speech, I suddenly want to see you react to the series the White Queen, White Princess, and Spanish Princess, historical fiction novels made into series by Starz. Granted, almost certainly not gonna happen, but I do think you'd enjoy them.
heya maaaajor! this is one of my favorite movies of all time. I dont know if you realized, or howmuch you know about british Literature, but Geoffry (the announcer for heath ledger aka Vision) is actually Geoffrey Chaucer, the writer? Canterbury Tales is one of his biggest writings and Vision in this talks about writing it. Canterbury Tales is very parrallel to this story, and even talks about the main character having lost a bet walking through the streets of Paris naked in shame. Also during one of the Wandvision episodes during the magic act episode, when he yells out "Good Afternoon Westview!" he sounds just like he did in this movie. Very reminisicent of this. You can also include Charlemagne (not the rapper lolol) in your French Knowledge. Charlemagne united most of Europe under his rule by the sword. He also restored the Western Roman Empire and was mentioned about seven thousand times in VikingsTV show 8th Century france, me thinks.
This is still one of my favorite soundtracks. Until you said it, I didn't catch that Robert Baratheon was in this movie! Now you should watch 10 Things I Hate About You, another Heath Ledger classic.
Yeah, I was waiting for the next installment of that series I've seen all the other ones White Queen white princess, and Spanish Princess. Going to watch it soon gotta see if it's similar to Reign with Mary the Queen of Scots
@@MajorReacts I watch all those too. I re-watch Spanish princess all the time!! However The Serpent Queen isn't a part of that series. Its still on Starz tho. Its got the woman that plays Alpha in Walking dead in it.
Aaaaah this is one of those early 2k films that is very much of the era it was released. The presentation, the costumes, and the music; it all screams late 90s/early 2k. 👍
I love this movie!!! If you haven't seen the movie Timeline (2003) I highly suggest it. I think it is a good movie to watch after A Knight's Tale. They aren't anything alike but they oddly go together, if that makes sense? 😂
I LOVE that you’re into the british royal history. Me too and I also watch The White Queen repeatedly. The Tudors is one of HBO’s finest. Are you going to watch and react to The Crown and Outlander?
I haven't heard of Outlander but I been thinking about watching the crown. Just don't ppl would like it on the channel might have to watch it on my own
@@MajorReacts Yes, I can see that could be the case. Watch it on your own, it’s really good. Have Outlander on a poll and see if ppl are interested. Great drama and elements of British history. Love your reactions! 🤗
Matt Damon Movies: Go ahead and get "the talented mr. ripley" out of the way, Matt D's character is still bad, but you've got to see his skills. But after that, work your way through the Bourne Series, then the Oceans (11, 12, & 13). Please note: the taping of oceans 13 overlapped a bourne movie and one of Matt's scenes is stylized in the manner of Bourne.

I know it the law that at least once a year an AC/DC song must be put in a movie sound track, but i just dont feel you shook me all night long served much of a point here, thunderstruck might have been a better choice

A lot of people were introduced to paul Bethany as vision, I was introduced to him when he walked into frame naked
Same
You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting. Such an epic verbal smack down.

Vision = Best hype man ever!😄
Love Paul Bettany...he is an under appreciatrd actor in my humble opinion.
"Your men love you. If I knew *nothing* else about you, that would be enough".
I love when major drinkin cause you know it’s gonna be a good ass reaction.
Love when he rambles and I’m like “how fast can this man talk”

Heath Ledger was phenomenal i love the movie "Four Feathers" he did just imagine what he would of achieved by now and he still only be 43
This is prob my favorite underrated movie ever
Man your energy made my day so much more better. Love your reactions ❤
This a great movie, Heath ledger (rest in peace🌹) also really elevates it as well as the music, Modern tunes blended with medieval.
"Follow your feet"
I love Paul Bettany. Such a great actor...haha
“Oh William…oh my boy”. 😭😭😭
If anyone says they’ve seen this and didn’t cry then stay away from them, they’re a psychopath.
"You have been weighed, you have been measured and you have absolutely been found wanting"
And yeah the actors in this movie are amazing!
If you didn’t already know Chaucer is the one who wrote the Canterberry Tales

28:20, makes me think of that moment in GOT when Jamie knighted Brienne of Tarth.

If you want to see a awesome movie I know you’ll love watch “the Martian“. After that I’ll GUARANTEE you will love Matt Damon.
I don't think anyone mentioned 10 Things I Hate about You. A really fun 90s/2000s young love rom com. Heath is so great in it.
2:58 I know he was famous in the movie Serenity. His name is Alan something.
I will always maintain, if Heath Ledger had played Annakin, the prequel series would have been markedly improved.
You might also recognize the legendary Alan Tudyk from Firefly TV show/ Serenity and his numerous voice over roles…

Extremely underrated film.
Have you read "Ivanhoe" by Walter Scott? It's THE medieval book about knights.
I haven't hopefully I can soon
You gotta watch the serpent queen its about Catherine De'Medici marrying Francis II its so nuts!!

When william is tied uo in the dungeon and the count hits him reminds me of the scene in gladiator where comicus basicly does the same thing

Medieval times were around 476 AD.

Love this movie soooo much!! And your history breakdown was great
Man if you like queen, one of their best soundtracks is featured in the Highlander movie. I actually think you might like it.

Other Heath Ledger movies- 10 Things I Hate About You and Casanova.
This movie always reminds me of a live Shrek or vise versa
First time i watched the departed i was pissed cause i thought matt damon was going to get away with it and then mark walburg fixed that
Roland is Robert Baratheon
What movies has Matt Damon been the villain in? Besides talented mr. Ripley he usually plays the hero or just all-around nice guy
Good movies w Matt Damon as a protagonist are Good Will Hunting and Saving Private Ryan if you havent seen them
I like so much your reactions, genuine and so funny. You sholud Watch TIMELINE, with paul walker and gerard buttler, also a medieval movie. Saludos
You should ofcourse watch "10 things that i hate about you" its with Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles fun romantic comedy
