There are two of these sensors. they are 10k passive sensors. Unfortunately this really doesn't fix the majority of the issues with the sensors. They really just wear out. What We need is a replacement sensor (Preferably Stainless steel) that can be adapted into the system. I have seen a few possibilities but haven't found the right one yet. For now, I have one sensor working and rigged a potentiometer for the other one.

Step by step I think I taken my intex apart 4 or 5 times now doing the pump, had to replace the impeller once already, I know I heard everyone seems to have problems with the shaft breaking, but I’ve had the same shaft since 2015 ( must been a fluke on that part) the magnets and casing crumbled in to piece after 2 years of purchase so I had to buy a new pump but of course not the same as the newer model but still good for parts but expensive. But I seen so many videos and a few have some links to replace the impeller or shaft. Also them temp sensors to. So I guess cleaning them first to see if I can get the code to go away would be my last step! 🤞🏼 And also de-scaling the heating unit it self . But will have to do that manual by hooking up a pump to it with hot water and was going to try de-scaler for coffee makers first!

Got in under the warranty and got a new pump, installed but still got the E 90 when the filters were on. Going to proceed with the sensor cleaning and get back with the results. I replaced the impeller shaft of the old pump, with no results as the pump made a lot of noise before it went out. I suspect this will be the final cure.

Had to make sure the unit was filled with water so once we cleaned the sensors (they were clean), we took the filter off by the pump unit and let it run without the filter on it so the water would flow through, and then put the filter on (which was new but wouldn't work by just changing it). You have to make sure all of the air is out of the lines. Back in biz!

@@letzrepairit5492 Are those temperature sensors or another type of sensor? We took them out and cleaned, both were pretty corroded. The main one cleaned fine, but it still only ran for a very brief before getting the error code again. The second one appeared to have the casing break off of the end while cleaning (with polishing sandpaper). The end now looks like black plastic material. I am guessing that means it's is done for. I have looked for the replacement and can't find it. It runs without the error code while running water through the garden hose into the bottom C port. Also, do you have a video for replacing the impeller rod inside the pump? Thank you so much sharing your wisdom!!!

Chris Hall Mine lasted about two years then heater went out as well ended up giving it to a buddy and he used it as a pool I purchased another one about 3 months now I was having this issue as well on my new one and motor seems a little louder on the pump but is working good What I did is loosen the filters to where they’re almost all the way off where you screw them into the tub and that gives a little more airflow that seemed to work recently replaced them and did same thing so I noticed by hitting the breaker on the plug-in cord that resets it and have not had a problem since. I make sure your water is filled to the max line as well I do you believe these last a good two years did replace the pump warranty after one year and that’s probably it for the price can’t really beat it found the best price on eBay through VM distributors. Had in my watchlist for 379 got an offer from seller for 239 after a month being in my watchlist so could not pass that up. I have found best way to keep it chlorinated is the 1 inch tabs one about every two weeks in the little floaty that is included with the kit I really do nothing else Hope this helps 🇺🇸🍻👍

It was the pump! had an extra on hand from an old system. Swapped the pumps and it works now. only took 10 min.

Try sending water through the inlet one at s time. Is the pump quite or making a grinding sound?

Its silent.. I turn on the filter and it hesitates for about 10 seconds and then gives me the error code. I took off the filters and tried it, disassembled the pump and cleaned it all out.. it’s all super clean. I think I just need a new pump??

I’ll try replacing the carbon rod with a brass rod... then maybe replace the pump assembly

Your definately not changing your filters after each use (as you recommend) cause that water was NASTY!!

Go figure. Mine does not have that sensor. There is no sensor in that location.

neither on mine. must be a different model, So the problem has to be with a bad impeller.
