Clash of Clans having such varied balance lets you figure out your preferred level of difficulty and allows for the user to progress as an attacker at their own speed, or even not at all (sneaky goblins)
I think some air troops are balanced like Balloons, Lavahound, minions, dragon rider. But things like Super Dragon, Dragon, Edrags are so powerful mainly beacause of earthquake and lighting spells. If they somehow manage to nerf these speels from doing too much for these air troops without damaging them individually it would be great and will encourage players to have some skills
The biggest change was when supercell made outside of Wall town halls useless then super goblins replaced barch, loot cart replaced cc troops except during war
When I first got e drags it was the only thing I used for a while because of how good they are, but I switched back to ground troops simply because I found them more fun, but ill occasionally use e drags when my heroes are upgrading or ill bring one for funnelling.

Well lets ask supercell to absolutely buff the living goblins out of every single defense. Buff all defensive byildings to have double thier current hp once the balloons are unlocked, buff aur sweepers so that they push any air units to the point they endlessly push and have them get moved halfway across the base forcing them to re target onti something you didnt want them to target, buff all ground untits as well, douvling their attack and hp as well, and finally decrease the camp capacity for sime units like valkrie going from 8 to 5 housing space, yetis from 18 to 12 ect. Make the ground units more enticing to use, buff them without harming the air units by touching thier stats. And mabye then.. Dudunsparce can rise

It's very Simple Really: Walls are such a detriment to Ground and air units ignore them. Air Sweeper has not done much to slow them down and new levels may start pushing air units back, which may be too strong. The only real solution I can think off is a huge rework for Air defenses in higher town hall levels, where it behaves like a Multi inferno and targets multiple air troops. Also Coco-loons is a big reason air has doninated. If Seeking airmines stopped working on balloons, Air would take a Drastic hit.
Or you know? Brand new anti air structure(sky bane? Cloud hunter? Iron dome? Multi missile? You probably come up with better name) introduced in TH 13 to prevent dragon spam. Literally helpless against ground troops but absolutely nightmarish to deal with against air target.
With all the new ways to bust walls, they’re honestly not that big of a detriment to ground anymore. Super wall breakers, jump & eq spells, siege machines etc. Super hog and super miners which are both pretty strong are also ground troops that bypass walls.
Basically you can carry too many L spells air defenses don’t do enough raged dragons just too op wiz towers need a buff anything past th 8 expect to just get blasted by air troops
Just bolster your air bombs. Those are the first things I'm maxing at town hall 14. Just so people assume I'm a brand new 14 with low level air bombs & seeking air mines but air bombs are all 9 & mines are all 4. With 2 multi infernos & 1 single target
Learn the hybrid strategy id say, it’s had a 99% success rate for me. 12 miners 14 hogs 5 wall breakers 5 healers, some baby dragons to funnel. Take a flame finger in the clan castle, place it on one side and queen charge the other leaving some stuff in the middle. Then when the funnel is set, spam hogs, miners, warden in the middle giving em a path direct to the core
To fix this, they could add x amount of advanced walls per th, kind of like you can change between mortar-multi mortar mode. You can, for example, have up to 75 extended walls, being higher walls that also block flying troops. Or for example a new defensive structure: the reinforced net Which cannot easily be defeated by their attacks and act like flying walls

TL;DR: add 3rd air sweeper and give them new levels that give them small damage and more HP. I think they could balance it some by buffing air sweepers. They have not gotten a new level since TH11. The problem is that if they push too much, they will just stall out troops. Instead, for new levels, give them a little bit of damage and increase their HP. And also add in a third one. E drags are also particularily slow so it will nerf them.
Most air troops are op as is, benefits like not worrying about walls and cannons being useless makes air better by default
Not to mention their most effective defense being a easy target for spells
Those benefits are what makes them better. Otherwise they actually have lower stats compared to ground troops
