While I was at the store trying on the dress, the missionary said he just picked up the check. There are absolutely no coincidences! I love your story, and I love our Father who brings people together. I also love your family and got to listen to your dad on victory while he was in Branson before he was transitioned to heaven. ❤

I was 53 when the Lord brought into my life someone I had met years ago! I was single for 17 years after being married twice to the wrong ones! I had no desire to marry again! The Lord sent 2 ministers to our church to tell me He was sending me a husband! That was a shock! It wasn't long when he showed up as our new worship leader! It's been 26 years now! He's a Word of Faith man, loves the Lord, walks the walk, is a joy to live with! We have so much fun together!

I prayed and prayed and I thought God sent my husband. We were engaged for almost 3 years. I don’t understand why he broke up with me; he doesn’t really even know. But he did. I am sheltering in God’s arms; I still question, but profess my faith in the next breath. My daughters were very upset, too. I thought they would be happy for me. Maybe they will be in the future. We enjoyed your story. My husband and I started watching this video when my 17 year old daughter came over interested and started listening. At one point, I stopped the video and said, "I can't stop looking at Carl's tattoo." When I told my daughter it was barbed wire going through his skin, she freaked out. LOL. I told her he probably got it BC (before Christ), but she started wiggling around like she could feel the barbed wire going through her skin. LOL. I asked her what she thought it was, and she said, "I thought it was a pathway through some brambles." My husband and I looked at the tattoo and both said, "Change Approved!" LOL. I met my husband in September and was married in December and we thouhjt that was too long. We have been married 45 yesrs. It will be 46 on 17th of December. So beautiful. We are in the class of "special" relationships. So happy for you both. ❤️umore

That would be her because your sister came to Word of Life in Honolulu and shared her Book. I think Kelly Copeland was their also. It was a womens conference. Your sister was so funny. Thank you for sharing your story and I’m glad you are married but few things that cross my mind as we walk with the Lord is that we should not rush into it but know the person and give it time, the Bible does speak on decisions that are hurried can be unwise. I also believe when it is from God your near dear ones will be happy too. It is important to let your children know and not make them insecure by such a major decision making without consulting them, they may not be happy but informing them as showing love and respect is important too, we would not want our children to do the same to us. Godly counsel and praying friends is so important when it comes to making such big decisions. A lot of women here are getting encouraged but everyone needs to be wise and see what the Bible says in regards to marriage and husbands. All the best wishes!

We enjoyed your story. My husband and I started watching this video when my 17 year old daughter came over interested and started listening. At one point, I stopped the video and said, "I can't stop looking at Carl's tattoo." When I told my daughter it was barbed wire going through his skin, she freaked out. LOL. I told her he probably got it BC (before Christ), but she started wiggling around like she could feel the barbed wire going through her skin. LOL. I asked her what she thought it was, and she said, "I thought it was a pathway through some brambles." My husband and I looked at the tattoo and both said, "Change Approved!" LOL.
Anyway, thank you for telling your story. We really enjoyed it. I love hearing your real stories and how God has helped you. You are funny and very encouraging. Also, thank you for introducing us to your husband!

This is just so wonderful!
Thank you for sharing your story and I’m glad you are married but few things that cross my mind as we walk with the Lord is that we should not rush into it but know the person and give it time, the Bible does speak on decisions that are hurried can be unwise. I also believe when it is from God your near dear ones will be happy too. It is important to let your children know and not make them insecure by such a major decision making without consulting them, they may not be happy but informing them as showing love and respect is important too, we would not want our children to do the same to us. Godly counsel and praying friends is so important when it comes to making such big decisions. A lot of women here are getting encouraged but everyone needs to be wise and see what the Bible says in regards to marriage and husbands. All the best wishes!
That’s why we said, don’t do what we did, you have to listen to the Holy Spirit. It was Ephesians 3:20 for us.

I’m coming with my thoughts with love as I have been in this place and wanted to do the same but the Holy Spirit kept pointing me to scriptures and then I had to do the right thing.
