Literally start a new insta account with zero followers and there is almost no way to grow unless you tap into your other social or irl. Tiktok you can start fresh and the algorithm will push your content to its target audience with hashtags. Another Instagram hate I have as of late is these messages constantly popping up telling me to turn on Notifications. I have them turned off for a reason. The majority of creators can't and won't be able to create "shareable" content. So what he is saying is we are only rewarding a subset of accounts. Which is usually stuff that pisses you off, makes you laugh or solves something. What he is daft about is the other platforms do not limit to only shares. So on other platforms those with less shareable content can still win, just at a slower pace. There is no winning with Instagram if you don't fit their ideal mold. So the numbers don't lie and I have grown in the last 6 months from 1000 followers to over 32 thousand with a million reach a day. My best reel got in less than a month 21M views and I am nothing special. The changes have meant more none followers see my content
They say you have to share your emotions and all that krap.. but in reality it is just a matter of what the society wants to watch.. if you show a cat, you get more views, if you show a video of you falling into a Pool and drunk, you will get more views.. if you show a beautiful woman talking about something.. it will get more views than a guy o a not so attractive woman talking about the same thing... even if they know more... a gym trainer teach something and it get few views.. but an actor or a politician shows a video working out and it gets more views.. even if it does it wrong... it just motivate smaller creator only to do dumb things to get attention instead of been more educational or real.
