- Just a casual talk with my friend who now owns my previous Interceptor 650. He rode my CB 350 for the first time. I know about both these motorcycles since I have owned both. So, we just thought our chat would be useful for those considering both these bikes as their new ride. Also, I have been getting a few questions regarding the same. This video was not planned, so we have not methodologically covered all aspects of comparison, there are bits and pieces which we missed in this friendly chat. .

The day i went to book a motorcycle, the Interceptor was never in my radar. I test rode the dominar, the duke390 then at last a guy at RE insisted just to test ride the int650. Reluctant but still i said ok. I rode for just 10mins but that's it, that 10mins was enough. The kind of connection which i feel with the Interceptor i feel with none other motorcycle. The smooth rumble, the flat torque, the lil bit of heat that brushes past your thighs occasionally ... Its just love 💟 😁. 1 year now, 8k kms on clock & riding strong. 😁
Riding int650 is delight for rider. bought without any test drive, I m so happy 😁🔥
I am a beginner (19yrs old ) so i am going with cb350rs and later to the int 650
Same experience as mine...im going to book 650 as well
I am 19 and planned to buy cb350rs and after 2-3yrs, i will be upgrading to RE inter650
Same. Will be doing the same. 😅😅
Yes I really need it. Thanks you
Was waiting for something like this ...nice review
Thanks brother 😊
I am a long term interceptor owner myself.
Recently rode a friends CB350 will share my thoughts:
The CB feels super light and agile.
Engine revs happily for a long stroke single. (It's a modern Honda after all)
Ride is very well sorted feels supple.
Switch gear felt crowded, too many buttons which are not intuitively placed.
Character of a compact naked street bike, in the guise of a retro bike.
While riding the bike sounds quite muted , as compared to when you see is pass by. (When you hear a typical beat)
My Verdict:
Absolutely 2 different bikes altogether.
CB is a nice commuter no doubt.
However doesn't feel honest in character. It looks like something and rides like something else completely. Felt it's the offspring of Hondas accountants or MBAs realising there is a potential in the partcular segment ruled by REs retro lineup by adding oodles of refinement and reliability to a retro design.
Interceptor gives a pure and un-adultrated biking experience, not as practical as a commuter.
Most importantly it is quite enjoyable to ride slow, a typical RE trait, and also ride at triple digit speeds for hours together.
Have done 4 tvm-chn non stop rides in the last 2and half years it's a very comfortable bike.
But the pillion seat isn't a good place to be.
Interviewer is in love with interceptor.Thats very clear.
Thank you brothers
The location is really beautiful and peaceful 😌
Thanks brother 😊
sir your lacotion was good. which is it.
Excellent bro keep it up👍👍
Thanks brother 😊👍
Thanks bro that informative video
thanks brother 😊
Video is nice but you are cutting down (Or) not letting the other party speak up. That is actually influencing the other guy's opinions. Anyways, good effort. Keep going.
Yeah, that was the first thing which came to my mind as well after watching this 😊
Thank you
I bought hness cb350 last year but the frequent down shifts worry me....I was using royal Enfield classic 500... might be the reason.... now I am thinking about upgrading to re interceptor 650 from Honda hness cb 350.. . what's your opinion.... Honda hness only 10 months old.....
The interceptor will no doubt give you power, refinement and quality. But it lacks comfort personally for me, it's better used just to enjoy the rides. I would suggest you try the new classic. .
are you selling cb hness?
Good review brother 👍
Thanks bro 😊❤️
want to change my Hness seat like interceptor seat .how can I do? Is it possible
Not sure about that, you should either get a seat cover or modify the stock seat
GT 650 touring seat is the right replacement. I clocked 350 km in a stretch....no pain at all
Thank you for the good information. I was confused a lot between these two motorcycles which one to buy. Now I am clear to by interceptor. I want more performance what exactly there with interceptor but I want engine refinement. Please let me know the level of interceptor engine refinement in comparison with cb350.
Interceptor is levels above cb350 in terms of both performance and refinement. The cb350 has the best refinement for a 350 single though . . .
@@GodsOwnRider Thank you very much for your feedback.
Very good review 👏 👍 👌
I hv highness cb350. Now want to add interceptor 650 alloy or cb500x.
Still couldn't decide. Your opinion Pl.
Thank you, I am in similar confusion but between upcoming shotgun 650 and cb500x. Will have to wait for price and test rides..
If you plan to tour a lot then cb500x, for leisure rides in city and short morning rides on weekends go for interceptor alloys
❤❤
Can you do a similar one for people looking to upgrade from Meteor to Int650..
I do not know anyone who has Meteor brother, to do a comparison. Again both are different styles of motorcycles. One is a laid back cruiser and the other is a slightly aggressive roadster. I think the meteor wins in features department (alloys, tripper navigation, charger etc.) and is more comfortable to ride + better mileage. You should go for the Interceptor only for 2 things - the beautiful twin cylinder engine and the beautiful retro styling. Personally I believe it is not good for commuting or touring (although you can find owners doing both using it). .
@@GodsOwnRider thanks that's useful to know. May be I'll wait for 650 Meteor.
💖💖
Not really a comparison..both are in different leagues
👑Interseptor ♥️
Sir please help me out with my problem, I'm ready to invest upto 4 lakh on motorcycle right now and I have 2 motorcycles from 2 different segments GT 650 and Himalayan! My major criterion is Motorcycle should last longer! And a fine built quality. I want to keep it as long as possible! If I want I will buy another one in upcoming years but this one is special for me, so Just name the motorcycle and clear it up.and do you think I should consider Honda CB350 platform?
Considering you already have GT and Himalayan, you can consider CB350, but only as a city bike. You have a cafe racer and ADV, so what you need is either a roadster or cruiser.
@@GodsOwnRider No sir i failed to convey what I meant! I have Himalayan and GT in My wish list! I want a motorcycle which will last long! So with which one should I go?
All royal Enfield are invetibaly long lasting bikes,my Thunderbird still looking beautiful
Luv INT650..pure motorcycle .raw bike raw power in modern dayz..thanks to RE.
Yes, its design is in line with the 'pure motorcycling' tag which RE used in their marking . .a true modern classic . .
let him speak maaan....
Thanks bro that was helpful🔥👍
🙏😊
Location is great, request you to please share the location information
Way to kuzhippilly beach, kochi
Is Interceptor good enough for Mumbai traffic?
For me it's not, mainly due to heavy clutch and bad posture
Which one looks bigger
Interceptor looks bigger, beautiful and has more road presence
Hi ,
Am going from splendour pro to Royal Enfield, am 5.5 height, this is going to be my first royal enfeld experience, most of my ride time would be in city, i might take the bike to long road trips occasionally,I was thinking of buying either classic 350es or interceptor 650.
What would you recommend?
I would take the test rides, however, please tell me one thing, which would you recommend classic or interceptor? For a first timer?
There is new classic launched end of this year, should I wait for it or buy classic earlier.
Please let me know
I would recommend the new classic 350 over interceptor. If you want to experience the twin 650 engine wait till end of year Max, RE is going to launch 2 new motorcycles with the same 650 engine, search for super meteor and shotgun to know more. . .
@@GodsOwnRider should I wait for the end of this year to get new model instead of classic now?
Interceptor 650
Monster 👍
Mileage of both bikes bro
35-40 for CB, 23-27 for Interceptor
Same comparison i wanted ..thanks but the talk About tyres is missing
thanks brother, yes the tires. . the interceptor (old) had more sticky pirellis with tubes inside . .while the CB350 has tubeless MRF zappers. ..both motorcycles handle well on corners on these respective tires . .alloy+tubeless setup on the CB is definitely an advantage.
Serivce costs of both bikes
CB requires 6 months service whereas Interceptor requires only yearly service. Parts cost of the interceptor will be more compared to cb
@@GodsOwnRider cost of service with labour charges
The Interceptor could do with a better instrument cluster.
Yes, just a few more details on its digital display
aalano interseptor vaangiyath ??
Yes
@@GodsOwnRider ippo ethra km oodi vandi nokiyo 😃
That's was a good review. I guess meteor 350 is really promising against highness cuz i have seen videos from reputed CZcamsr that they have equal level of refinement and high gear problem on highness is not their on meteor. If u got time can you compare your highness and meteor
Location....?
Vypin
Kuzhipilly, this is the road towards kuzhipilly beach . .
What about continental gt
GT has a more sporty (lean forward) riding posture, with more rear-set foot pegs, both of us have never ridden the GT . .both CB and Interceptor can be classified as roadsters while the GT is a classic café racer.
When cubicle workers complain too much, they get blessed with an Interceptor 650.
Happy Labor Day, everyday 🤣🤣🤣
😀
Interseptor superb
👍
Honda cb 350
baat bahut karte ho be,,, atleast i wanted to see a drag :)
Interceptor is going to set a benchmark for indian motorcycles like the Yamaha RD and RX did.
More weight, more torque and more heat. Interceptor is a manly machine. Not everyone can handle this.
Highness
Everything is wrong about this video... Starts with the description... How insane it is to compare 2 bikes from different segments... 650 can easily pull off any comparison with h'ness...
Pull off only in certain aspects like power, performance. .but not on others . .btw if you like any one of these two there is nothing wrong . .the choices will be split sure. .
Interviewer pakka mallu accent
We all have one accent or the other 😀 who speaks british english here . .
ONLY HONDA
Malayali
ur mallu slang in English 😉
Otherwise you would have told fake accent 😉
@@GodsOwnRider taken bro, good content, keep going. where are you from in kerala, i am Kottayam, kanjirapally.
I am from Kochi 😊
Hindi bolo bhai....kya jarurat hai English ragarneka
Not that fluent in hindi although I can speak. .
Dude, they are from Southern Part of India, Kerala to be precise. How can you even expect to speak in Hindi? Can you speak in either of these - Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil? At the least appreciate the effort being put in here. Just an opinion!
Thank you
