I Have Dreams was a screamo/emo band from Tallahassee, Florida, that was born from the ashes of a band called New Ethic, when their guitar player Daniel died in a car accident.
I Have Dreams were more than a band - in the words of Mike Peters: “It was an attempt to cope with the pain everyone was feeling after Daniel’s death.”
I love this band, and I love their music, but what I love most of all is the fact that the whole existance of this band was a tribute to a friend.

Speaking to Ben seals on myspace my 9th to 10th grade summer on myspace in 2003-2004 was probably the highlight of my life. i wonder if anyone knows where they are now.
From what I found online it looks like Ben passed away 2 years ago :( Clayton (the drummer) is currently in Of Montreal though which is rlly cool

pretty much the below is all you can really find out without talking to anyone from the area or that grew up in the scene here... Daniel at age 15, (guitarist/songwriter for their previous band, New Ethic) passed away, and his best friend/protege' Mike Hanson took his place on guitar and added the clean vocal element, and birthed ihdThey truly were something special for North FL hardcore! I was in a couple bands with Mike, later on such as: prodigalfl.bandcamp.com which doesnt compare

What's the story of this band? I heard some things, but I have no idea if any of it's true. I grew up in Illinois and a fried of mine turned me on to these 5 songs. They are so good, I just wish they made more music.

Personally, in my opinion this is my fourtgh favorite screamo band. Remember this is HARDCORE PUNK. Forget posers this is punk. This is our life and moreover our passion!

Congratulations you managed to drown out electric guitars and amplify screaming.... Is this really the recording? Ugh.
It's generally observed as either the guitars drown the screams no matter how loud the mic is if not certainly the drums will put the screams to the test. You can't even hear the band in this recording I'm not sure if that's your CZcams upload of quality or inadequate recording equipment
