Seriously Christy? Sarah’s costume is beautiful too, has she seen some of the thing Chloe and Paige have had to wear? She shouldn’t be complaining
Mackenzie Goodie goodie and sink and swim prove how little costumes play a role. They where bathing suits a bikini and 1 piece now if scores are close sometimes costumes and coreagraphy are issue but Kenzie got 1st and Sarah 4th so not the fault here.
It is unrealistic (and expensive) to get a custom costume everytime. All the kids have had good and bad and in between costumes. Sarah's costume wasn't bad. It just wasn't fancy because she was playing a human child/superbrat whereas MAckenzie was being an animal. But how many just plain costumes of a bra and skirt have the likes of Maddie and Chloe worn and still gone on to win?
She spoke about the make up and I agreed with her.
A scary make up would have been great on sarah

Sarah is such a beautiful little dancer. It’s such a shame that Christy is her mother. I think both Mackenzie and Sarah looked great in their costumes, I don’t see why Christy has to always start something about every little thing.

Maddie almost never had ‘fancy’ makeup yet she almost won every time!
Well are her dances were pretty much the same tho..and when it was something different than just a pretty lyrical dance which was rare Abby did do her makeup to fit the character soooo you’re kinda wrong..pretty makeup and a pretty white costume doesn’t convey a dark piece very well

I honestly feel bad for Sarah. She’s a wonderful dancer and she seems like a really nice person, but her mom holds her back from almost everything. And she ALWAYSSS has to find something to pick about. She’s putting stress on the poor child🤦🏽♀️i think she would maybe be a good asset on the team but she most likely won’t because her mother is crazy
If I were a director looking at this I wouldn't hire her because her mom would be too hard to work with. I think one of the reasons Maddie got her breaks was because people saw her mother took a back seat and let whoever was in charge artistically take over.
I agree but this time she was right - theme of her dance is good and make up artist could do something creative (same thing with costume). Costume is a part of a score so it matters.

Christy overreacted but I can see where she was coming from. Mackenzie has this spectacular makeup and costume whereas Sarah was meant to be a “ scary little monster “ but she was just wearing an average black and white costume and had no “ scary monster “ makeup “ .
Life Of Lauren I think that Sarah had a CONTEMPORARY so she had the better style but Mackenzie did hers better
In all honestly it‘s not all about the costume, it’s about the performance you give
the costume suited the dance. Her dance was about a naughty kid who gets up to mischief. The monster make up would have detracted from that. You can't have a custom costume everytime but you should be able to win without it.
i think Melissa or Maddie used to do Kenzie's makeup so if Christy wanted Sarah to have better makeup, she should have done it herself
Maddie or Gianna did Kenzie's make up. For more elaborate make up Abby would hire professional to just do that girls make up for thqt competition.

In all honestly Sarah’s mum Christy comes of as loud and opinionated, but you can clearly tell alls she wants is the best for her daughter. They have such a great mother/ daughter bond and it’s lovely to see. Christy gives her great, loving pep talks and no matter what happens she always congratulations Sarah with a nice warm hug.
