How is it possible that this band has been around for 5 years and I just 'discovered' them last week. This sort of life force trio music has been tumbling around in mind for a decade. Better Late than Never, I guess.
I just now discovered them...they're awesome!
The world needs Ryan Martinie.
This is funk, rock'n'roll, progressive, metal, omg. I'm in love.
That bass. What a sound!
Ryan Martinie you're the master.
Had a 2 hour private lesson with Ryan, yesterday. He's an even better person than bass player, if thats possible. Soften The Glare!
pieceoftimeraleigh jealous! lol
Have you heard the old band he was in though? Hmm
How the hell did you.manege to get a lesson from him... Money much?
@@nordimejia5790 I just got lucky. They were asking $75 an hr and I offered $200 for 2 consecutive hours.
@@pieceoftimeraleigh only 75 bucks? 😲
seriously Ryan is ridiculous. he is so fucking talented. im buying this album
FUCK !!!!!!!! I CANT GET THIS GROOVE OUTTA MY HEAD !!!!!
DAMN YOU RYAN !!! Incredible man!!
ELEMENTS OF EVERY GENRE ON THE PLANET..... how do you categorize this without using the phrase "HOLY FUCK"!!!! ?
DAT MOTHERFUKIN' BASS LINE!
Ryan is unbelievable. I absolutely love his playing.
so good to hear Ryan again.
best bassist ever !
Damn this sounds epic. Ryan Martinie should do a side project with Paul Masvidal.
damn, even in austria this song is great
Saint Crow It's great in North Korea too
Saint Crow Russia confirms it!
México loves this!
God this band is genius
HOLY FUCK...THAT BASS RYAN ONE OF THE BEST BASSISTS EVER!
First time in a long time that I had goosebumps on first listen.
Wow. Definitely an instant favorite of mine.
Amazing! Looking forward to hear the rest of the album!
The beginning of this song reminds me of the movie "Return of the Living Dead." Great song either way.
That bass 🤯
damn..ryan bass badass!!
awesome as usual
perfect blend of genres
Sounds great! I am hoping to donate after Christmas!
YES!!
Awesome sound
Wow 😍 bass❤
Ryan is just so sick!!! Stanley Clarke meet your match good sir!
Need to get Ryan martinie
and Les Claypool together
I've listened to it only couple of times, but it's already stuck in my head.
sure, album will be insanely cool! :D
Beginning 2:43, epic Pink Floyd vibes!
Goat
I'm a guitarist, but I have a bassist as a major influence? How fucked am I ?
A ritualistic influence because it expands beyond musicianship to the core of why music moves me to begin with..Most incredible bassist/percussionist I've ever seen... Soo glad your jamming Ryan... You have subconsciously hypnotically audio phonically redirected my hearing channels to include not only the signals entering the ear but the air I breathe, the space I consume, and all I visually can see..... an awakening
Thank you
I thought the title was "Mission: Impossible"
Hahahaha, I love that towards the end a phone rings, some women answers "hello. Hello?" And all you hear is the song playing through the phone. Weirdest prank caller ever, hitting people with a sudden attack of prog-rock.
would give my left arm to collaborate with Ryan Martinie
Me too. As a guitarist, writing with someone like Ryan could only have a positive result..
CaricatureOfficial you could collaborate with Ryan! Go to pledgemusic.comsoftentheglare ! You could spend the day with them in the studio!
Melissa Brown would absolutely love to, but I drove myself into the poorhouse completely self funding an ambitious record that is now in its final stages. If the kickstarter had started last summer, I most likely woukd have bit on the day in the studio, not only to be in the room with that much talent, but to support musicianship of this calibur and make sure that it gets the time and environment it needs to reach full potential.
Plowguitarist Agreed. Having a bass player that, at any moment, can take over the melody and percussive aspects of a song simultaneously opens up a world of possibility for composition.
And how do you think you'll play with only one arm?
Bass tabs pleeeease!! :)
no singer! call me Ryan! LOL sweet prog feeling stuff though.
Please god give us back Mudvayne
Rhyno \mm/
.
Very Pink Floyd'ish and Rush'ish.
It's got a mastodon sound
It's a toss up between Ryan and Mr les Claypool for all time top bassist I give Ryan a slight advantage for his style it's more technical
Great song. Wish they'd have created a better envelope at 4:00 though. That transition is pretty harsh...
Best of all, no vocals. Just music. No self centered, entitled, traitorous, backstabbing, Bootstrap Bill looking ass vocalists...
