We've just cruised on P&O's Iona for the first time. Have a little look and see what you get for one of the cheapest cabins on the ship🥰Interior/Inside cabin number 4.451.
One of the perks of the inside cabins are that the showers are often cubicles and a lot bigger - rather than a curtain (definitely on RC) which I think is a hidden gem of inside cabins
Great video, lovely room, and after all, you’ll be out enjoying the entertainment and restaurants most of the day. 😊
Our thoughts exactly...although I do love a balcony. Have only had them when they've been on offer though 🤣
You’re right Bec . A balcony is lovely but sometimes it’s a luxury not worth spending the extra on . If it’s a balcony and 1 holiday or an inside and 2 holidays I def would go for the inside . The only thing I find in an inside is I haven’t got a clue if it’s daylight outside or still dark 😂 There’s been really good prices on inside cabin Fjord cruises and the most important thing is you get the same experience both on and off the ship once you’ve left your cabin . It looks a nice modern cabin . Xxx
Definitely, I'd go inside all day long if it meant I could go again 🤣
thanks for the tour, we have booked an inside cabin as on a budget but has put my mind at ease as I,m sure it will be fine, as everyone says not in it long and so much to do on board. rather save money for another trip.
That's absolutely the reason we do it... balconies are lovely but unless there's an offer they can be alot more expensive. I'm sure you'll have a love time, when do you go? 🥰

@@rebeccaj yes I know. Its ok. Years ago we went to Greece on a square deal. We were transported by bus to a ferry that took us to Aegina. It was ok till me…the culture vulture decided to have a day trip to Athens. Oh my giddy aunt 🙈. A wee tug boat came to take us…never been as scared in all my life x

As you say it’s much better to save £400 & you will be sleeping & getting ready in the room - so many other lovely places on board to relax in xx
Balconies are lovely and I definitely make use of it but we have to be frugal😜🤣
It was interesting that the rail in the wardrobe went left to right. I saw another video where the rail went front to back which in my opinion isn’t as good. We’re in one of the square shaped inside cabins in January with our kids and I hope the rail is across the wardrobe as in this video otherwise we’re going to have problems. Thank you for sharing.

I will always opt for the cheapest cabin, just because it means I can enjoy more cruises, if there's an offer on for a very reasonable balcony then count me in🤣 I really don't mind having an inside though and these are all shiny and new still, so very nice. What did you think? 😊
@rebeccaj we haven't been yet our 1st cruise is on Iona in November:) I'm looking forward to it, we are on deck 9 forward which we chose.

We've booked Royal Caribbean for May so I'm super excited for that...it's for Anthem of the Seas and we haven't been on her yet😊

We have stayed in an inside cabin twice to save money for eating in the paying restaurants & drinks
I don't mind an inside cabin at all...don't get me wrong a balcony or outside is great but I'm the same as you and would rather put it towards other things 🥰 If only money was no option 😊🤞🏼
Has the bed side lights got USB sockets on them?
They did! We didn't discover them until the second day 🤣😊
If i was a solo traveller i would definitely stay in an inside cabin. However, due to my wife’s medical conditions this is not possible 🙁

How was the noise at night from the cabin and could you feel the ship moving at night?
I don't remember any noise at night and movement was absolutely fine 😊
How many plug sockets are there in this room?
There were 2 at the desk and the usb ports by the lights. Possibly more but we didn't use any others😊
