- Todays episode is a little different from most in that we're doing a product review. This our first review on whats4chow, and the product is a donut batter dispenser. We are not getting paid or endorsing any product brand, as this particular tool is available from a number of different companies and can be found on ebay and amazon.
To make the review as fair as possible, I am using the recipe provided by the manufacturer, and I must say that the recipe is one of the nicest tasting batter based donuts a I have tasted.
You can find the batter recipe on our website whats4chow.com/2015/07/22/prod...
This is episode #310 with Whats4Chow.com -- please subscribe for notifications and updates.
The problem is that you are holding the dispenser too high off the oil. I have this same dispenser and you need to hold it at the surface of the oil so that the batter doesn't deform.
+Michael R Glatfelter Jr Hi Michael, thanks for the interesting input. I certainly will give this a try and post the results on the channel. Thanks for watching!!!
We had one of those over 60 years ago. This is a retro product. It worked very well for us. We just didn't get any holes!
Thanks for your input --- an interesting concept, however I don't think it has ever worked the way it is supposed to!
Thanks. Please would you mention in your reviews how easy it is to clean the item?
Ever tried doing an american style donut? I've tried a few recipes now and would be interested to see what you can come up with. Keep up the good cooking!
Vinnie Bosh Hi Vinnie, no I haven't tried that yet, but I'll look round for a recipe and give it a go! Thanks for watching!!!
I would also like to try this recipe on my waffle maker, but there aren't any eggs on the list of ingredients. How many should I use?
+Jolina Elvambuena Hi Jolina --- thank you so much for pointing that out!!! I have corrected the recipe --- you use 2 eggs in the recipe. Thanks for your interest and thanks for watching!!!
i like this product

Welcome. Thanks for watching!

Neat, but I'm more of a hand cut donut fan.
