As a black Jamaican, born and raised, I find what Meghan and Harry have done to the Commonwealth deeply, deeply upsetting. Now, my ancestors suffered many injustices under colonialism, and I am not excusing Britain’s responsibility in that fact. However, as a young child, born in the early 80’s, I remember when Jamaica had a thriving bauxite, limestone, and sugar cane industry, when the country had its own airline that was actually OWNED by the country and not an by an individual or foreign group. These were industries set up under the British governance that were kept by the country when they gained their independence in 1962. We have one of the best educations systems in the Caribbean. Now, those industries are almost non-existent and the airline in the country is owned by a Chinese company. When did all this happen? Under our own corrupt Jamaican political leadership!!! To constantly blame Britain for colonialism without also identifying the positive benefits we enjoyed under their governance is erase important history and move us backwards in the pursuit of racial harmony. Meghan does not represent me as a black woman and if we don’t stand against what she and Harry are doing, years from now, when the true impact of their actions have materialized, we will be left sitting in the ashes of what used to be, wishing we still had it!

Meghan Markle likes to tell people she has a special talent, writing calligraphy, and she loves it when everyone acts surprised and say "oh really, whats that?"And she tells them she can do the fancy handwriting that they do on invitations, etc. I was moderately impressed bc once upon a time I had actually taught myself to learn calligraphy in my earlier days and remember it took plenty of practice, a steady hand w/good handwriting and special pens to do so: it was fun and the outcome was beautiful but tedious. Then I saw her on an old Larry King Show and out of the blue at the end of the show he spontaneously asked her if it was true she could really write in calligraphy and asked her to give him a sample,she begrudgingly did so.... and she did NOT know calligraphy, she produced regular cursive handwriting with an occasional flourish of a wavey tail over the letter T or H, wth?? Meghan Markle is so full of of crap, she wings most things thinking shes so much smarter than everyone. Oh I'm sure he's right in that respect. The one thing I don't agree with is that she is always unaware that she's lying. I can certainly see how her need to be a perfect specimen causes her to find a way to blame everyone else, and thus lies emerge, but what I can't understand is when there are two completely different stories. One example might be the "truth" the Sussexes told Mishal Husain during the engagement interview regarding how Harry's proposal took place. That changed from a night in in Nottingham Cottage, and the roasting of a chicken (and yes, I've looked that one up in the Urban dictionary!) to another "truth" involving a blanket on the ground, a bunch of white roses and a breathy moment on the phone with her friend. That shows me they didn't think what he did by having that tabloid taking pictures of him getting dressed for the wedding and getting paid for it a big deal. I think that she had her dad set up knowing that he would let the paper take pictures and get paid. She knows her Dad and knew that if he is asked, pleaded with he'll cave in. Like many others I LOVE your presentation, content & ‘angle’ on this horror show. I, and I’m sure others would be very interested to know a bit more about your history, how you got into this. You mentioned briefly that you’d analysed The Leaked Letter in your capacity as a lawyer. When/what was the turning point for you? When did the scales fall from your eyes? The reason I ask is that I am one of those middle aged white women who was so thrilled for this ‘golden couple’ when their union was announced but then began to realise things were not how they seemed. Race NEVER came into it. It was entirely about behaviour & attitude. So sad. The worst thing is they are so stupid & short sighted & malevolent. The only good thing about it all is that it leads one to respect all those hard-working Royals so much more than one might have done previously…

In order to will he cheap victory , I’m pretty sure by this time the queen and PP , knew exactly what they were dealing with ! How could anyone set out to destroy a man who has given you everything he could ,but now he hasn’t wherewithal to be rinsed any further , discredit him and humiliated him . These were industries set up under the British governance that were kept by the country when they gained their independence in 1962. We have one of the best educations systems in the Caribbean. Now, those industries are almost non-existent and the airline in the country is owned by a Chinese company. When did all this happen? Under our own corrupt Jamaican political leadership!!! To constantly blame Britain for colonialism without also identifying the positive benefits we enjoyed under their governance is erase important history and move us backwards in the pursuit of racial harmony. Oh I'm sure he's right in that respect. The one thing I don't agree with is that she is always unaware that she's lying. I can certainly see how her need to be a perfect specimen causes her to find a way to blame everyone else, and thus lies emerge, but what I can't understand is when there are two completely different stories. One example might be the "truth" the Sussexes told Mishal Husain during the engagement interview regarding how Harry's proposal took place. That changed from a night in in Nottingham Cottage, and the roasting of a chicken (and yes, I've looked that one up in the Urban dictionary!) to another "truth" involving a blanket on the ground, a bunch of white roses and a breathy moment on the phone with her friend. Either she knows one of those things is a lie, or she's prone to psychotic episodes.

Like many others I LOVE your presentation, content & ‘angle’ on this horror show. I, and I’m sure others would be very interested to know a bit more about your history, how you got into this. You mentioned briefly that you’d analysed The Leaked Letter in your capacity as a lawyer. When/what was the turning point for you? When did the scales fall from your eyes?
The reason I ask is that I am one of those middle aged white women who was so thrilled for this ‘golden couple’ when their union was announced but then began to realise things were not how they seemed. Race NEVER came into it. It was entirely about behaviour & attitude. So sad. The worst thing is they are so stupid & short sighted & malevolent. The only good thing about it all is that it leads one to respect all those hard-working Royals so much more than one might have done previously…

This is a fact that ,as usual ,meegain would prefer us to ignore , it is blindingly clear ,she set her father up from the word go ( possibly with the influence of Doria ) but she Seems to think by cloaking it in her usual victim narrative ,people will somehow forget this part of the story ,if we are forced to listen to her constant attempt to portray herself as an innocent young girl ( rather than a seasoned hustler , she set him up over the photos the blamed ,and blocked any right of reply ,at any time she could have contacted him by phone or even gone to see him as she was advised . But that would have foiled her plan to Humiliate him thereby giving her the excuse to cut him out ,when the reality was she had cut him out ,when her plan to snare Harry began to work , but the letter was supposed to restore her victim status in case ,questioned later . She engineered the letter being leaked eventually as he would not play her game and leak it himself ,then if that was not bad enough , decided to sue the mirror , then proceeded to perjure herself . In order to will he cheap victory , I’m pretty sure by this time the queen and PP , knew exactly what they were dealing with ! How could anyone set out to destroy a man who has given you everything he could ,but now he hasn’t wherewithal to be rinsed any further , discredit him and humiliated him . Harry must be a very dim man ,who having watched that , hasn’t realised at some point , he ll be in the firing line when she’s rinsed all she can from him and his family ,but we’re supposed to pretend this never happened WOW what is she all about it’s terrifying !

Harry could have gone independent at any point, but because he benefited from staying under the Royal cloak, he did nothing. He couldn't jump ship without a raft, and Meghan was the ticket. Harry knew this woman was not going to stay and the plan of leaving started right after their engagement. From where I'm standing, it appears as though they've gotten exactly that half in business. They may not be going to Royal functions, which Meghan hated anyway, but they've been summoned to attend historical moments in time related to the Royal establishment. They ARE merchandising and capitalizing off their titles. The only thing that's missing is the thorn in Harry butt which is mandatory paid security. That's what this is all about, Meghan could care less about anything eles.
