I hate every square inch of Oshiro's joke of a hotel with passion, but even I have to admit that this is an epic arrange. The orchestra gives it a whole different feel.

@@rutmarotto The story that we know for sure is that he stayed one last night, and that by the time Madeline visited his hotel, it had become what it is that we all experienced. Furthermore, Mr. Oshiro (according to Granny) has never left the hotel. It can be very well assumed that either during that night, or some other night, Mr. Oshiro died an unfortunate death and his ghost still roams the hotel as he reminisces about the good days when the hotel wasn't closed, refusing to acknowledge that those days are over.
I loved the hotel. Very iconic level with a spectacular climax of a boss fight that was challenging the first time through. A very tragic character indeed and the ost for it was the cherry on top
i mean i'm sure it looked nice at one point. something just happened to it that made it all just go to shit. presumably bad business, but it could be the same fate that befell the forsaken city... whatever that is.
@@ssbbmaster Literal shadows of doubts moving back and forth, yet the thing that annoys me the most is when they go vertically. I can deal with them going left and right, but man I H A T E when they go up and down
Please keep doing these. There's so little Celeste orchestral out there (although it looks to be picking up).

I want someone who hasn't played Celeste to try and guess what's happening in the image. And if you have played Celeste, then imagine if you haven't yet and tell me what you would have said.
It reminds me of a lot of anime plots. Poor Mr. Oshiro seems to have lost everything, possibly because of the evil purple girl, and Madeline looks determined to defend him (or avenge him).
If I didn't already know Badeline is a doppleganger, I doubt I would realize based on this image until someone else pointed it out.
Pretending that somehow I'd never played the game yet also knew all the character's names...
The evil doppelganger of Madeline has attacked and defeated Mr Oshiro, and Madeline is about to fight her until evil Madeline is defeated .
But that is not the story lol
Maybe I'm just uncreative since I already know what happens here, but what comes to mind if I try to think of what I would say is kinda similar to what actually happened.
Red hair tried to protect green shirt from purple hair, failed horribly, and the tension of the situation fucktupled due to purple hair's nasty attitude. Shit's about to get thrown down.

I don't know too much about celeste, but this cover is great. The type of game isn't quite my forte, then again, neither is Touhou, and I still love it. Maybe i should the Celeste ost a try as a standalone work too to judge it.

I personally think the strings lack dynamics and legatos
Depression (Madeline) makes you highly sensitive for empathy, because you are in an inner conflict with emotions on a daily basis.
But just because you are highly empathic doesn't mean you are equally social. Depressive people (Madeline) learn to avoid the conflict, because they hate consequential behaviour, especially if the behaviour of the depressive person is the reason for conflict.
When you feel an emotion, you need to express the emotion or it will overcome you. It is utmost important to let the other know (Orisho), if you are pissed by their behaviour, out of two reasons. First, if you (Madeline) act the other way, the other person (Orisho) will get the idea that his behaviour is correct towards you and you will gather frustration. (Badeline)
This will go on, until the truth is your only emotion left. (Badeline - You are a coward)
If Badeline wasn't an impersination in this game, Madeline would had said the line herself eventually.
