And Now For Something Completely Different... But Sort of The Same. (Ep.1)

Exciting times have arrived and with them a new group of videos begins!
My wonderful girlfriend Judy and I have finally pick up our own Sidekick!
Join us for fun and frustration as we tackle the multitude of issues within and try to make a decent rig out of this little beater.
The plans include a new transmission, a head gasket (or new engine), a ton of rust repair, bumpers, rock sliders, a suspension lift and much, much more.
This is an opportunity for Judy to learn all sorts of repair and maintenance skills and get her hands dirty with a bit of basic fab work as well. Maybe you'll pic up a tip or trick as well or, better yet, pass some on to us!

Some Toyota axles and an Aerio engine would be awesome! The engine is a possibility as it needs a head gasket anyway, I'm pretty sure. If there's a 2.3 around I'll strongly consider that swap. I guess even the 2.0 from a Vitara would be an upgrade...

That's my shop truck - a 1990 Nissan D21 hardbody... only the body is utterly rotten so, not very hard anymore ;)
