    I've been digging the Verdant! Done a few brews with it and will do many more. I'm trying US-05 for the first time in a batch currently fermenting from Big Brew Day. Peace & cheers!!!

      @@Rubio_Eric not always, but I try to do it as often as possible. I would recommend that. Makes sense to do it IMO.

    I am going to brew a SMaSH beer with Verdant instead of US-05 I think. I know the idea is to have a super clean beer but figured a little complexity won't hurt.

    If you hadn't have fermented under pressure initially, do you think there would have been even more esters from the Verdant? I've got a couple of 1 gallon batches on the go that use the Verdant so excited to see how they turn out. Another great video.

      We use it as our house yeast and we leave pressure off till day 4 to get those esters coming through

    I would be much more interested in Verdant vs something like Lallemand NEIPA yeast on a NE IPA split batch.

    What attenuation did you get with Verdant? I couldn't get it over 70%

      I have the same problem, which prompted me to ask Lallemand what the expected attenuation is for this yeast. They told me that the range is 74-82 %, and in their own trials it was on average 78 % !

    Any effects from letting the beer come to pitching temp overnight? Or just for convenience? Just used verdant in a triple IPA it was lovely

      One effect is that you actually made a cold crash of the wort. Which would give you super clear wort. I dont really care about that though but some are. For me brewing no chill is just a convenience.

      Yes I did, and I have now found a better funnel so its much more easier now than on my original video I made about them

      How come? Always oxygenate your wort... Can't hurt.

      @@Drmaxter Correct - it won’t hurt. But dry yeast have all the sterols and nutrients it needs for the first batch. If reused - treat it as fresh yeast - and add nutrients and oxygen.
