    Thanks Anita. I want to acknowledge that this video was super helpful for me and fortunately I got labour APIE.
    To the glory of the Most High God of miracle, I came out successful.

    Thanks a lot for your video, please I want to clarify if one can write 'TODAY' instead of that day's date in the box for date

    • @dankgh_

    I have a question to ask during postnatal assessment is it necessary to touch the pad to see the stage of lochia or just to view it?
    Cos obviously if u touch it,u still have to perform hand hygiene bf continuing the assessment station.

    • @dankgh_
      @dankgh_  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hello Joanne,during the perineal check I always advice you support mother to flex knee and cross their ankle together for stability,wear apron ,perform hand hygiene,wear your gloves and inspect the pad by touching it with the consent of the woman,as the perineum will also be inspected,u might as well do it…I hope this answers your question better❤❤

    • @Joanie.nkworka
      @Joanie.nkworka Před 6 měsíci

      @@dankgh_tnk u so much for the answer, but is their still need of observing hand hygiene again after touching the pad before continuing the rest of the assessment or should i continue with the same gloves?

    • @dankgh_
      @dankgh_  Před 5 měsíci +2

      @@Joanie.nkworka never continue with the same gloves,please dispose off in the clinical waste bin and repeat hand hygiene and wear a new one

    Please I have a question why didn't you start with the cervical dilation before you start from HR

    • @dankgh_
      @dankgh_  Před 6 měsíci +1

      When using the WHO PARTOGRAPH, you are required to start from cervical dilation and also that partograph has arrow of ALERT and ACTION line which guides the documentation of cervical dilation,however this partograph do not and this is also the specific one u use for your OSCE so plotting this way is the accepted pathway in order for you to pass your LABOUR ASSESSMENT. I hope this answers the question better❤

    Pls assuming the partogram was prefilled and you did the next v/E and other assessment do you join them ? ( ie the FHR, cervical dilation and the descent )
    If it was stated there was NAD in urine in the initial assessment do you do it again on your next assessment ? if not what do you write there ?

    • @dankgh_
      @dankgh_  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Please do not join,just fill yours after the hours and talk about the difference taking place between the two examination as a handover to the examiner
      Also if it’s stated NAD in previous urinalysis,kindly confirm the urinalysis results with the examiner before you write in ur current assessment,but please never assume result please.hope this answers your question?❤️

    • @dankgh_
      @dankgh_  Před 5 měsíci

      There isn’t ,so you will need to quote that,you will observe maternal pulse with Fetal heart rate for complete 60sec and in every 15min and check blood pressure and temperature for 4hourly following NICE guidelines.
