Thank you for another wonderfully explained lesson in astrology. I have atmakaraka in Aries in the 6th house, and Karakamsa in Scorpio in the 5th. My lagnesh is Mars (Scorpio rising) and it's 2nd from my atmakaraka in Taurus. I agree with everything you've said. I definitely have a severe phobia of insects. Some bring me to tears. As far as spiders go though, I try to catch and release them instead of harming them when they are in my home, so hopefully that will be some good karma built up for the next life.

Definitely lots of truths to what you said about the lack of nourishment from my mother (I rejected her breast milk and took formula instead) and didn’t have that bonding that most people have. Not married but I don’t feel that I’m missing out on that fantasy of what our “normal” society says we have to do/follow. This is amazing! The way you read charts made it really clear. However, when I try to look at my chart I get confused 🤔 especially when there are no planets in 6th and 8th houses and then to read by significators becomes confusing to me :)

My AK is moon in Virgo in the 9th house. 6th from moon is Saturn in aquarius in my 2nd house and 8th from moon is aries but mars is debilitated and retrograde. My atmakaraka and lagna lord is Venus. In D1 chart Venus is in the 5th house in Aquarius. In Navamsa Venus is in the 2nd house in Taurus.
According the video I push myself foward, I am worried with my appearence and it's important to me do something of significance in life.
As my Karakamsa is Taurus I will have problems or joy through cars/vehicles, I will be good in business and I will forget to my personal objectives in my life because marriage.

Looking From the karaka lagna my ascendant and its lord has gone into the 8th house bringing a majority of my other charts planets into the 6th and 8th which explains a lot... and i mean a lot..of challenges...

I'm cancer karakamsa and as a kid I came within an inch of drowning in the sea. As a kid I could not swim. And I was playing in the sea and got dragged out. The lifeguard saw me at the very last second before I would die. As an adult whenever I have a dream about a Tsunami approaching, it means something bad will happen in life soon after. But I think that's to do with my Venus in ardra in 8th house, as ardra is related to tsunamis.

Yes Scorpio is Lagna, Mars ruler, Unfortunately the software moved her moon when I change the chart around I should’ve checked out.. but it makes no difference because moon conjunct Ketu equals loss of mother or mother connection. Does not impact on reading really..
Gina, can Rahu be atmakaraka ? I heard that according to ancient scriptures it cannot. Only Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter & Saturn are to be considered. What's your opinion?

Yes I do that is called Karakamsa chart..it’s a different analysis. This Karaka Lagna is more fundamental, and very significant.

Aries Karkamsa! Really has to look for a lot for finding a right match. As venus is AK, it is might be making me very picky. :( seems it never gonna happen. my D1 lagna lord jupiter (R) is with AK in D9 in Aries. Is it making things delayed?
If the AK planet is separated (by being conjunct with a malefic) from the second highest degree planet, the AmK, does that mean that the the darkness of the karma is even deeper and obstacles are more intense in cosuming the AK karmas? Thank you, dear Gina!

Hi Gina ji, not sure if this is the right place for questions for your next q and a but I'll try here anyway. Do the effects of the next mahadasha-antardasha start showing up gradually towards the end of the current md-sd or is it like at the turn of the mahadasha, a few significant events occur that change the tone overnight? If the first is true, then I'm interested to know if this is true across a bigger unit of time like a yuga. Because if this is true, Kali yuga may he characterized by bad people and events but the gems of the upcoming Satya yuga may start to show glimpses. I want this to be true seeing the revival of vedic astrology, meditation becoming more widespread, yoga etc. Hopefully the great souls step out of the mountains and caves and guide humanity along. Please let me know.
Satya Yuga comes in 350 000 years from now. At that point in time there is very little human life left on earth humans have diminished in size more like small apes..Very little vegetation is left and most of the animals are carnivorous scavengers there are no cows et cetera all of this is talked about very clearly in the 12th Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. Long time to go until we get there. Satya Yuga is more like Astral existence, only in Treta do forests appear again on the earth,,
Satya Yuga Is the only yuga that has to be brought in by the supreme himself he comes here in the form of the Kalki avatar purifying the earth..such as in Bible Revalations. The other three Yuga gradually merge into the next by a very slow deterioration in purity.
In regard to MD, the last bhukti is known as Dasha Chidra, It is a confusing time when there are signs of the new MD but Yugas are a diminishing of purity and are not really comparable to MD

Be careful making assumptions across charts! This photocopy of charts, one on the other is a strange 20th C western Astrology phenomenon..not even in medieval traditional western or Arabic astrology was there such a thing !! Certainly not in true Vedic. It should be very obvious to you that there is a lot of confusion about this and a lot of assumptions yes there are energies between people due to how people are expressing their karmas especially when transit join two charts together.. This is something I will perhaps need to do videos on at some point so don’t worry about it there is no special karma due to just that,,,

Yes some do not use aspects by sight in any charts esp Jaimini which has system of sign aspects.

With this technique, you have just to convert your D1 chart by putting everything clockwise to put atmakaraka in the first house, or is there a calculator for calculating atmakaraka lagna?
No it’s not necessary to do anything more than put AK planet as first house..all planets exactly as in D1. use sign for house, not usually available in most softwares, but Sri Jyotish Star may have it, draw by hand is easy.

For placing the Atamakaraka in the first house does that mean all the signs and planets in the other bhavas rotate accordingly?
O also do all the other planets that were conjunct with the Atamakaraka move into the first house with the Atamakaraka as well?
Rahu and ketu can be AK? They are highest in my chart..but I heard they are never considered as AK..till now I thought it's saturn..as that's down by .20 degree but both above 28 degree . Am a bit confused..my Rahu mahadasa hit me at age 6 so my AK dasa over ? As I am in Jup MD
Rahu usually was the one who was considered as Atmakaraka, but you have to count it by substract 30 degrees with Rahu's degree. For example, if your Rahu is in 4 degree of Aries, then its degree would be 26th (because 30degree substract 4 degree would be 26) and if there's no other planets higher than 26th degree then Rahu is your Atmakaraka. Hope this helps!
Hi Gina, thank u 4 yr teachings, much appreciation. I posted this in part 1 too - my Rahu is 3 libra 2H, if i go backwards am i 27 libra or 27 Virgo? I have 25deg 49’ mercury 5H cap. My asc is 24 deg 57’ 1H Virgo. (Calculations are from a sidereal app), is my atmakaraka mercury 5H cap or rahu in either libra 2H or Virgo 1H? b. 23.02.77 at 21:58 Dublin, Ireland. my D9 has mercury at 22 Leo 5H & rahu 1 scorp 8H so 29 scorp 8H?, D10 Venus 29 Gem 3H & rahu 4 scorp, 8H so 26 scorp 8H?, D60 is 29 Venus Aqu 11H & rahu 29 Aries 1H so 1 Aries 1H? There is only one AK planet. You see that in birth chart. You see that in all other vargas.
If Rahu is highest degree planet at 3..that is Libra sign.
