  • We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater (2 Thessalonians 1:3 New American Standard Bible / NASB)

Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Praise God for this message. Praise Jesus our big brother and Lord for his love. Praise the Holy Spirit for speaking through this man. Gods love is so great to us with little faith. He’s so kind and gentle with us.

This message had just helped me turn the direction that my life was going and had given me every tool I've been looking for to make it out of this year. But I must say I know it was God that had me listen to this cause the way the dude reading this teaching had me thinking bout stuff that happen 2weeks ago I had to keep backing it up. (wondering mind) It's ok to fluctuate your voice. Jesus did it. I don't think Jesus was talking mono tone saying, scribes and pharasies you hypocrites, no Jesus was going off. But again I say this teaching has changed my life this night. Thank you for posting it. Thank you thank you thank you. God bless.

Dear fellow David. Your comment is 7 years old now. How are you in your walk in faith? I have to say that I simply don't understand a person that declares being so faithfully edified by the message but is rude to the messanger. Where is the thankfulness of heart? You complain about the envelope that contains a letter addressed to your heart. The "dude" that kindly reads the letter to your ears probably is a volunteer. What about you as a volunteer working for the Lord?
No, my fellow. Drop complaining, and begin to work for the Lord. I think you should write to this community testifying about the long term benefits to your walk as a pilgrim of the narrow way.
