@zoplatinum I'm not saying white parents can't be strict, I'm just saying my parents are Asian and have also gone through a strict childhood so I guess that just got implanted to them
Nobody even tries to understand Ginny’s perspective. She is upset with Georgia because she learned her mother killed someone because of her. She not only feels responsible for the death of another person, as if she was the one to do it, but she also has to keep it a secret so all of that is eating her up inside. Also she is questioning if her mother is a good person because wouldn’t you also question if your parent is a good person if they killed someone no matter the reason. Also Georgia keeps on keeping huge aspects of her life a secret from Ginny, things that always end up affecting her in some way or another, and then refusing to give her the full story when little details slip through the cracks. I’m not saying Georgia is a bad mom, she has been throughout a lot and has done so much for Ginny, but she is also not this perfect mom everyone makes her out to be either and Ginny is not some evil villain she is made out to be. Ginny is going through a ton and she is handling it as best as she knows how at 16 years old.
That’s basically saying oh I have to kill someone my child or someone that tried killing my child oh well I have to save the stanger le5s kill my child
One day my mother got home and I didn’t clean the house how she expected me to do so she took everything that was out of place and threw it down the stairs, and then after she made the house more of a mess than it already was, she made me clean up everything again. This behavior reminded me of her, I know it’s in a different context, but still adults should behave like adults
@@coronablack3786 Yeah, we adults can be immature and unable to control our feelings at times, but you can't show that to your kids, or do things that would affect them when you are throwing a tantrum As a parent, you need to be assertive, clear, and notice that they are not your friends or equals, there's a power imbalance
So I actually had a mom who was very similar to Georgia, and as a result grew up, mostly like Ginny. The thing that you have to realize about Georgia when she’s acting out in these toxic ways is that it’s only because of how her life was and it’s a reflection of her own trauma because trauma is so subjective to each person without proper care, it can go unnoticed for so long and that person once they have children doesn’t know how to raise the kids but they are doing the best that they can, the tragedy is the fact that a lot of times this isn’t enough until the children end up presenting their parents because they gave them a quote on quote shitty life. It’s really hard to forgive when it comes to situations like this.
Yea, and it’s so weird that a lot of people don’t get this and hate Ginny so much. But Georgia doesn’t show her mature strategies to handle her feelings, how should Ginny behave differently? Also, Georgia went through a lot, yes, but that doesn’t give her the permission to behave the toxic way she does sometimes. She tries to be a good mom, but unfortunately, she’s a child herself and too childish to set real boundaries, teach emotional control and provide her children a stable home. She promised her kids to not get in a relationship so fast again but as soon as they move the Wellsbury, she starts dating the major, her own boss! And that relationship is built in lies too. Damn she killed people! She did so much fucked up stuff, at least Ginny never killed someone…
@@Kampfrattex3 I agree, but again as somebody with a similar parent minus the killing, they essentially can’t help it. They rarely seek out therapy even when they should and they just keep spiraling out of control. It is their job to be more mature and handle themselves and unfortunately that falls on the child when they don’t I still don’t condone Jenny’s behavior though even if she didn’t do a lot of the things for mom, did she still in the wrong for being the type of person? She is because what she will also come to realize is that she’s let herself turn into a terrible person. It might be partially hers. Mom’s fault because her mother didn’t teach her any better, but when she becomes an adult that’s who she is and now she has to learn how to deal with it, it’s unfair in every sense of the word but that’s what I’m going through in my life right now and you just have to realize that you’re in control of your own life at some point not them so just because they suck doesn’t mean you can also suck too
Georgia was being the shit here, throwing away all the food because Ginny didn’t want to eat dinner? Ginny is going through a mental breakdown and struggling not to harm herself at this point, plus she’s having to hide the fact she’s going to therapy from her own mother

Her mom knowingly destroyed both of their credit scores and when Ginny brought it up Georgia made her sound like she was crazy for being mad. She actively doesn’t feel like she belongs anywhere bc Georgia kept moving her around whether it was murder or failed relationships as the reason why. Yes Ginny should appreciate Georgia but she’s allowed to feel angry and confused by her decisions.

Georgia I think was out of control in this episode. Just because your daughter doesn’t want to eat doesn’t mean you gotta throw out all the food. Make everyone in the house suffer
I don't think people realize how much ginny is hurting. Yes, she can be really ungrateful sometimes, but every time she's mean to her mom, it comes from a place of feeling unsafe, untrusted, or that she has to be the responsible one. Georgia is a great mother, everything she did was to protect her kids and she doesn't deserve a lot of what ginny does to her, but ginny gives reasonable responses to whats going on in her head and until later in season 2 she didn't even have any idea how she's supposed to work through what's going on in her mind. I think people hate on her too much when she's just a teenager who has no idea how to handle her feelings (which, btw is mostly because of the poor example she got by a mother who also doesnt know how to do that) and has gone through way more than a teenager should every have to.
So she threw away food and didn’t feed her other child, who didn’t do anything. Not to mention that she isn’t rich so she can’t afford food that often. Alright. Sounds rational.
She has money now. She is not poor anymore but It is still dumb to waste all that money and food just because she is angry. She is not poor even though she still uses that as an excuse for things like stealing and using those credit cards. I love Georgia but yeah that was not rational and was toxic parenting.
Ginny needs to shut up and grow up, learn to take responsibility, and appreciate the things given to her. Georgia needs to get it together, act like a mother not a jaded friend, and stop trying to get revenge and show out when Ginny messes up.
I’d say that’s the only time Georgia has tried to get revenge. We can’t even lie and say we wouldn’t if someone is constantly treating us like the sh** on the bottom of their shoe when all we do is bend a knee to them. Ginny throws a party….Georgia smiles and does nothing, Ginny having sex at 15/16…. Georgia does nothing. This is the only time Georgia actually put a foot down. Sometimes!?!? That bitch is always trying to make her mom into a monster
She just didnt eat cuase she was in her feeling
For everyone standing up for Ginny you have to understand that when Ginny was younger Georgia (the mom) did everything to make sure Ginny could survive then Ginny started taking Georgia for granted and in season 2( spoiler alert) Ginny made this poem and in that poem called Georgia a monster just because she killed somebody while trying to protect Ginny
That is true but still everyone well stand for Ginny-
Why? Don’t know
Just because she killed somebody? So it's ok for Georgia to play God and be praised for it.
@@natashabox4042 Bro ginny was being touched inappropriately by her mother's( Georgia's ) husband.

Georgia was looking scary but coming to the end i don't know why I was laughing by looking at her expressions 😂😂
I love this scene
Mom:We have food at home
The food at home:
Maturing is realizing that Ginny wasn’t the only fucked up one, Georgia should’ve realized that Austin also has to eat. He’s not a puppet or a nobody, he’s a damn kid. When he grows up he’s going to realize how fucked up his childhood was.
Edit:Some of y’all aren’t getting my point, it doesn’t matter if she gave him a bagel.💀 My point is that he still had a fucked up childhood, did he not..?

Georgia took it a little too serious when Ginny said she didn’t wanna eat
Jenny is not such a bad person at the end. She’s better to her mom at the end and her mom is better to her.
Am I a bad person because I care more about the fact that she just wasted a lot of food then the whole family drama
nah because that's def uneeded and terrible especially given that there's another child in the house, why should he punished for the others mistakes?

No that's actually really good. We care about wastage 😀
No, you aren't

They are wasting food. Some people don't even breakfast
Austin being hungry af:😭😭😭💀💀
For those who don’t really understand the only reason Ginny’s mom was so mad about her not eating the salmon was because she worked so hard to be able to buy food for them to eat when Ginny was younger and she just doesn’t care.
So she hides all the food away! So rational
My mind:not the food 😢😢😢
Everyone is hating on Ginny acting like they've never once talked to their parents like this 😭
But the thing is, I don't have white parents. My parents force me to finish my food, I'm not allowed to talk like this.
I’d get beat the fuck up for talking like this fym
@@CoolPudding7048 As a person who has white parents that do this I can confirm I don't exist
@zoplatinum I'm not saying white parents can't be strict, I'm just saying my parents are Asian and have also gone through a strict childhood so I guess that just got implanted to them
Well that's kinda true
What’s sad is that Ginny was going through mental health issues and Georgia didn’t know until way later
She took”i dont wanna eat” to a next level😂
Ok but this time it's extreme. She shouldn't have thrown all the food away
1. Ginny will starve
2. It's wasting food
I totally agree, One like for you ☺️

Realistically if the blonde looked like her daughter...then so many online wouldn’t support her toxic behaviors.
This just shows that adults can throw tantrums too.
Don't expect adults can always act like adults, were all human beings that have limits and needed the least of help they could offer
My moms done that to my clothes in my room because one of the drawers didn’t close because maybe two shirts weren’t folded made me very upset
@@coronablack3786 then why does Ginny gets all the hate if adults can also throw tantrums and can't control their emotions?
@@coronablack3786 Yeah, we adults can be immature and unable to control our feelings at times, but you can't show that to your kids, or do things that would affect them when you are throwing a tantrum
As a parent, you need to be assertive, clear, and notice that they are not your friends or equals, there's a power imbalance
Bro drank to munch 💀💀
Georgia had a little to much rosé last night😂😂😂😂
So I actually had a mom who was very similar to Georgia, and as a result grew up, mostly like Ginny. The thing that you have to realize about Georgia when she’s acting out in these toxic ways is that it’s only because of how her life was and it’s a reflection of her own trauma because trauma is so subjective to each person without proper care, it can go unnoticed for so long and that person once they have children doesn’t know how to raise the kids but they are doing the best that they can, the tragedy is the fact that a lot of times this isn’t enough until the children end up presenting their parents because they gave them a quote on quote shitty life. It’s really hard to forgive when it comes to situations like this.
you don't have to forgive them :)
@@fede1834facts
Why does she have to hide it tho?
@@s.a.4275 Georgia doesn’t want either of the kids going to therapy, she thinks therapist will just prove there’s something wrong with them, when she thinks she should be the one to fix everything wrong with her kids. She can’t, though

Does nobody understand how Ginny must feel at all? She didn’t know why her mom killed someone and since she won’t turn her in she feels it’s her murder.
Ginny is always rude to Georgia, has publicly humiliated her and keep in mind that Georgia was abused by her step dad in many ways, Ginny needs to be more loving because until Ginny became a jerk Georgia was nothing but nice
Yes. Ginny's rude behavior and not understanding her mom was because she is her child, not her friend. She doesn't know the whole truth about many things and is pissed off with instability of her life, of which she doesn't even know why its all happening.

“I hope you saved some for austin”
Austin being hungry: 👁️👄👁️
I concur with you

So she threw away food and didn’t feed her other child, who didn’t do anything. Not to mention that she isn’t rich so she can’t afford food that often. Alright. Sounds rational.
She has money now. She is not poor anymore but It is still dumb to waste all that money and food just because she is angry. She is not poor even though she still uses that as an excuse for things like stealing and using those credit cards. I love Georgia but yeah that was not rational and was toxic parenting.
