- We tested a handful of carbide tooth, medium metal and general purpose blades to see which one cut through a 4" piece of cast iron piping the quickest.
Although Lenox carbide was faster by a whole 25 seconds (ands thats with the blade popping out of thew saw halfway through the cut) Diable didn't have any complications and cut well through the cast iron. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
This was incredibly helpful, thank you. You just saved our butts on cutting out an old heavy pipe under our house. We couldn’t get through it with what we had. Thanks again.
Pretty cool to see all the blades tested
Thanks for the prompt review
Sephiryith Hey thanks man!
Of the 4 winners ,which one last longer
The banana looked delicious!

I like the comparison of so many blades! Suggestion....safety equipment - eye and ear protection required...
No suggestions... The hearing protection is not needed because that saw and the cutting of the metal is not that loud. The eye protection is not needed because all the metal coming off that pipe and the blade goes straight down to the ground. Nobody wants to hear what ifs because if we lived our life to what ifs we wouldn't even leave the house. Your welcome!
@@simonsays8935 fair enough....I'm in my 60's and wish I'd worn ear protection in my early years (it wasn't available) and my hearing is damaged..and when you end up in emerg and they use a magnet to remove a shard from your eye, well don't say I didn't warn you🙂
@@jpaang OUCH! I'm sorry to learn of that. I have both eye protection and hearing protection for many different projects and I use them when I know I have to. Depending on how loud it would really be using this saw cutting cast maybe hearing protecion would be a good idea. At the very least eye protection would be good but like I said, in this position they were cutting everything is going to the ground. If I were doing this above head, Eye protection all the way and possibly hearing also. It all depends on the equipment being used and the location and/or position or the work.
That diamond blade will cut through a hardned steel lock shackel. If you ever forget your combo and don't have a bolt cutter.
i think youy should have used a slower speed guys

I could barely hear you guys.
Do not load a blade into a saw that is plugged in. Wear ear protection. Get it together guys.
