This building is the UK HQ of the famous Gtech Brand and is currently having a fresh coat of paint.
We speak to staff who come out whilst the drone was up.
Head of Marketing was very quick to make the most of the situation and invites me onto site for a look around.

Thank you all for your kind words, I had no idea I was being filmed nor how big DJ was, but he was a lovely man and treated him like anyone one else who showed an interest in our building/brand. He and others are always welcome.

People always think auditors do what they do just to 'get a reaction'. What people don't realise is that the reaction given here by Gtech actually makes viewing all the more entertaining!
No Reaction means no good content, a lot watch for some drama, personally I watch a lot more ❌ Videos than ✅but as you say, any reaction is content, I do like to see inside some of these places and discover the fun things like this "nightclub".
@@temparalflux914 I agree. Videos like this are more 'refreshing' than 'entertaining'. If Jordan started telling DJ he couldn't fly and used obscenities and insults to belittle him and the painters threatened him etc etc etc then the police were called and they all walk away looking like idiots while DJ contiunes filming over their walk of shame as that is his legal right then that is the entertainment we come to expect from these auditing videos. This vid was nice but if they were all like this I think the subs would drop off quite quickly.
@@silverfox74 I get the impression that you and @temparalflux might be missing the point of the videos? While you may find the confrontational videos entertaining, the whole point of these videos is to promote and affirm the right of photographers to film in public WITHOUT harassment. The fact that this one went well and without any issues (apart from the lady at the beginning) and provided more info about the company in general, is actually a GOOD thing! You may not find it entertaining, but this is what (I believe) the channel is all about, and why I and many people follow it. To promote the rights of photographers or drone flyers to engage in a legal activity that many, many people wrongly believe is illegal. It may just be entertainment to you now, but if you are not careful and engaged, you may one day find your own right to carry out a lawful activity has been removed. Think on!

Nobody is questioning that but my point if you would care to open your mind a little in this discussion is that people in general watch auditing videos for the confrontations leading to the auditors gaining victory over those perceived to be in authority. This video has 45K views - DJ's video being assualted by a Police Inspector has 1.3 MILLION views. I rest my case...
@@silverfox74 I think what you're saying will vary widely from auditor to auditor. I feel a lot more of DJs subs will be happy to watch peaceful videos like this one where you can learn about the company and there is no confrontation.

GI Sykes are the worst drivers in the West Midlands. Always notice them.

The lad they sent to the gate was decent enough, however, turning his HyViz in to a fashion 'statement' was a little odd.
I wasn't impressed with the middle finger and hope his company wont be either as that was a free advert by DJ for them and an opportunity to generate potential custom.

As a contractor to GTech, whatever DJ was doing was nothing to do with GI Sykes, Even if he was inside the gate & on their premises.
What if GTech had authorised or paid for a promo video for their company & DJ was recording for that purpose.
So that behaviour from their staff was totally uncalled for.

He shows Gtech in a good light , if he hadnt turned up i can imagine the other two asking silly questions, but he saved the day, you would think all people who work for companies would do this for free publicity instead of getting all defensive. I hope other companies see this and realise DJ isnt there to antagonise.

Lad doing the painting was great, very professional. As was Jordan,such a nice guy who was very wise to take the opportunity to advertise his brilliant company gtech and put the whole set up in a very good light and helping to produce a brilliant positive video, great job DJ.

@@susand9296 yeh just drives people to the point of wanting to slap the shxt outta him so he can put a compensation claim in which is obviously what he uses to buy his stuff.
@@kjp1232 CZcamsrs earn £8 per 1,000 views. DJ has already made £360 on this video with 45K views so far. One of his videos has 1.3m views - that's £10,400 for a day's work... DJ puts out one video per day. If he averages 70K views per vid his annual income will be more than the base salary on the UK Prime Minister (and that is just YT - no other channels/social media, no compensation settlements). In other words, some of these more successful auditors like DJ could easily afford a marque car such as a Rolls Royce or Ferrari but that is not the impression they wish to give out and they do not want registration plates to give away their identity. Do not judge a book by it's cover.
That's one of the best audits i ve seen in a while , the chap showing you around was a great help with info etc , high 5 to that fellow an great audit DJ keep up the good work cheers .
I have 2 G-tech vacuum cleaners , 6 years and working fine but had to replace the Nicads for NiMetal hydrides and use a different charger. Good products.
These industries come and go over time. It's great that you are documenting them while they are still in existence.
Coomber Audio (previous occupants of this building) came and went, not long after having this shiny new building built.

Well GTEC has been around for 22 years to date and have an enterprise value of around £133,000,000 with over 120 employees and are up there with Dyson in their field so I can't see them disappearing any time soon.

. . . Expensive but good, way better than Dyson but for the more budget conscious I would also recommend the Henry range of 'floor management'.
