I have donated my hair 3 times for kids wigs, the last time was 24 inches long.
I think this was the nicest thing. So many people get their hair cut and don't think about donating. You're just a plain ol' good guy, Chris. And your hair looks really healthy and STILL long!!
You actually look better and younger with short hair, especially without facial hair :) Makes you look half you age and puts to shame any anti-vegan out there who's obsessed with pointing out vegan deterioration.

It’s great that you did this :) My son grew his hair out for 4 years and wanted to donate also. It seems like everywhere, all over the world, hair salons like to traumatize people with a dramatic cut when they just asked for a trim! My friends and I also have experienced it.

Omg thank you for donating it to Wigs for Kids!! I have donated to them too. And when I was younger I would do art for them to auction off. I only got to do that a couple of times when I was in the hospital.

Long haired men gorgeous. I think this was an excellent idea and will be suggesting to my long haired friends that when they want to get a 'trim' they go to a place that donates to wigs for ill folk that need a wig. Some kid somewhere is going to be so happy, Chris that's a good feeling.
OMG - glad you did a recap at the end cuz when you said you only wanted her to cut 8 inches and you wanted to donate to Wigs For Kids - I was like, "wait a minute.... don't they have a specific length and style they want the hair donated in??" Cuz I remember the lady that did Max's hair said 1) they want the hair to be sectioned and braided, and 2) they wanted a minimum 12-15 inches in case they needed to trim any damaged parts away. Glad you showed at the end that you actually donated 12+ inches. I would have hated for you to cut the wrong length. Anyway, the stylist did a good job. And it was interesting seeing how attached you are to your hair. It's still pretty long though.

Everyone can help others, even without money! You showed us one method. Your leadership in educating new vegans is another! I’m sure you also make cash donations! 😊😊😊😊
Another way to help others without spending money: donating blood. My husband (almost 73 years old) and I (69 years old) (vegans since 1975) donate blood to the American Red Cross every two months. It costs us nothing and helps *a lot* of people--and proves that vegans are not anemic/unhealthy.

Wow, I can't believe you cut your hair after growing it for 7 years, good for you, and for such a good cause! It's good for your hair, it will only grow healthier & stronger now. I recently cut mine too, I went from shoulder length to chin length, so much easier to maintain.

Yeah Wigs For Kids was the best choice...I believe they don't charge the recipient... My son(17) just finished over 3yrs of chemo 2 months ago and during treatment he lost n regrew his hair 3x, he didn't care at all though so we never went the wig route but God Bless ya for doing this bc for sure it will lift someone's spirits.. Much Love 🙏💚✌

loved the length before and it´s always crazy to see it getting cut (even if it´s for a good cause). Thank god you kept it long but hope you grow it back atleast to waist length

damn, i didn't realize it was that long! nothing wrong with long hair but regular trims (at least once a year chris! lol) will help keep it healthy! split ends run up the shaft and damage it or make it frizzy. something to keep in mind anyways. looks great dude!

I work in a chain salon with about 8 stylists and my store got to try out Loma first because 2 of us are vegan. Well now our entire franchise of 30 something stores is selling it :). Paul Mitchell has a ton of vegan stuff as well!

I use Bondi boost it’s vegan. But it’s hair growth stuff. But it works wonders and smells amazing.

I was looking forward to a short, quaffed look. Like a hipster metalhead. That would have given the wig makers lots to work with (especially if your ends were uneven and damaged). There is always hope for next time;-)
They have plenty. They only needed 8" and got over 12"
I can't even count the number of bad haircuts I had as a kid! Now it's a few inches longer than yours, the bottom half blue. I guess that's me rebellious?!😂 Love your videos! A lot of other people I'm subscribed to aren't vegan like me.
I painfully remember my worst haircut. Glitzy salon, 9 months pregnant, long hair to my waist. Ask for a shoulder length cut, cute bangs, something easy to manage with a new baby coming soon. Came out looking like Dora the explorer. I was mortified. I have extremely thick hair and it was a good 2 inches wide sitting on top of my shoulders. I almost went into labor from shock!
Oh gosh I’ve had so many bad haircuts in my life and I always change it, I cut it and regret it, grow it and want a change. So this time I need to commit to the growth. Since I’m growing out my hair from bald 👩🦲 it’s only 5 months away from the 1 year mark.

That’s my hair in 2014- me too 😂 longer shoulder length.
I've been growing my hair out and I only it every 7-10 days. Greasy hair and danruff are not a problem and I haveno split ends. I use a very gentle shampoo and a good moisturing conditioner. Best condition it's ever been. ❤
