    Thanks for sharing video. I know someone who lives there. They share the most amazing beautiful nature pictures and videos of the plants and island. But you're focusing on certain things. It's the vibe you're giving off. Change it. . then go again. I'm not there but can feel it. That place has amazing things to share. But you're not engaging. Would you go to New Orleans and just say "Look at these streets, the police officer didn't even speak to me?" Motivate yourself so you can motivate others. I can say that because I'm working on myself...

      @@chantalabraham6701 Not a French "territory". It's a full-blown subdivision of France, as much as Paris. Yeah, it's because of fucked-up racist colonialism, but Guadeloupe residents are (at least constitutionally) as French as they want to be, rights and all.

    • @PichpoGUA
      @PichpoGUA Před 6 lety +1

      "Chef-lieu" doesn't exist in English. The translation of "Chef-lieu" is "Capital" (you can check on Google if you want). And if you really understood what "chef-lieu" meant, you'd know that it's just a small capital that has limited powers. If you use the word "chef-lieu" when speaking to an English speaking person and they ask you "what is that?", I'm pretty sure you're gonna respond "it's like a capital".

      @Joelle R. My ancestors came from there, before moving, or being forced to move, to the sister island of the time, St Lucia. So, yes, it is French; but the French architectural influence always makes their colonies distinct, whether in New Orleans or the French Caribbean.

      No. This is not the USA. In most countries graffiti and street art doesn't mean "very high crime area", particularly in European cities. Pointe-a-Pitre is a town in Guadeloupe, a fully integrated department of France, part of the European Union and the Eurozone. So same culture about graffiti applies there as in the rest of Europe.
