Over the past couple of weeks, I have watched dozens and dozens and dozens of Christmas DIY videos ... these three ideas are on my top 10 favourite list. Thanks so much for sharing them.
Niceee....love what you did with all three projects. Wow. I have so many glass jars and today wasn't quite sure what to do for a centre piece on our xmas table...now I do. Cheers.
I love those jars. Super cute and adds storage for things like gift tags or bows too. Tip for cheap stickers! Put a few drops of oil (lemon, olive, baby oil) and scrape with your fingernail. Smooth peel and the oil also helps to remove the sticky residue too.
I’m in love with alllllll these crafts ....I’m all done with fall Decor crafting I want to start Christmas ASAP ...I like being a season ahead ...easier to decorate as soon the new season comes ♥️♥️♥️thanks for sharing
Love the DIYs and also love, love, love that you call your viewers "girls"!!! Everybody else says "guys" when most, if not all, of us watching are, in fact, women. So glad I found your channel!
Heidi, I'm not sure if you have ever tried this but when I want an aged wood or barnwood look on something that is real wood, I always use vinegar that has had 000 steel wool disolved into it. It always looks amazing and the color it turns varies from wood to wood giving it a more authentic look. I have a jar of this I made a while ago that I just keep on hand with a good tight lid on it and I just pull it out whenever I need it just like regular stain
@@HeidiSonboulDIY anytime Heidi. There are lots of tutorials on different ways to do this technique. Some people use pennies instead of steel wool for a different look. Some people apply strong brewed coffee or tea because the oxidizer (vinegar & steel wool) interacts with the tanins in the coffee and tea. I used coffee when built the cabinet doors for the outdoor kitchen we built at our last house in OK. I love using natural stains on my projects because it tends to give a more authentic feel to the piece without the need for a respirator and waiting forever for the finish to dry.
Love the drop cloth tree Heidi! On your tags the best thing to take those tags is lemon essential oil - put on tag let sit for a few minutes and wipe off - they come off easy off of glass this way. 😀
You knocked it out of the park Heidi! I love the Christmas tree!! It is perfect! And the window was genius!! I was think of making an arrangement with the mason jars I have at home! Thank you for the inspiration! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for organizing this collab!! It was so much fun!
Oh my goodness, those jars are absolutely gorgeous!! 😍 must attempt my own, thankyou! Also, literally the video I watched before this said that spraying those stickers with Windex and letting it sit for a minute will help it scrape off easy. Never heard of it but hope it works! Thanks for sharing 😊
😇💙 I L 💗 VE The Christmas tree, I also like the fact that, you think outside the box, I also L 💗 VE the idea of the window frame, it would also be, really cute, to hang ornaments { Christmas balls, and or snowflakes with ribbon or jute rope etc. } You did an AMAZING job with everything else. Thank YOU for sharing your CREATIVITY with us, and also I L 💗 VE the fact that you, truly care about your DIYS.🤗🎄
LOVE all 3! I am sooooo….going to do the JOY jars! I am going to put a slight white "wash" over the red on the jars though...just to tone it down a bit. Buttons on bows....WOW!
lucky you, you must live in a warmer climate ...midwest birds don't lay eggs during winter months except maybe eagles or owls. thanks for the tutorial, I especially like the fabric tree.
As always, I love every single DIY! The Farmhouse window/wreath could also be made into a darling Spring or Summer Wreath- I'm saving for later! I love the little farmhouse tree - it's so sweet and the jars are beautiful!
The burlap Christmas tree is absolutely beautiful..I work for the dollar tree and the tinsel trees are so gaudy they become annoying to look at by the time Thanksgiving comes around....lol...just kidding they are pretty if your into that....with that said...now when I go to work and look at them I can imagine your tree...funny how I'm gonna buy one to try this DIY but when I get to the register I'm gonna get talked about by my co-workers because I talk about how gaudy they look to me...anywho...thanks for the inspiration..
I love these so much. Can’t really choose a favourite 😊. I live in England so we don’t have Dollar Tree but I know my local Poundland shop has those trees in so I’m excited to give the tree a go. Thanks for sharing. Xx
I love the Christmas Tree most then the jars. I agree with you, the easiest way to make the window frame is how you made it and so cute. Merry Christmas!
Oh my stars!! Love your farmhouse window with wreath and the rustic Christmas tree. Very pretty! Thank you kindly for sharing your crafts. Have a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃❤🦃
They’re all so fun and soooo Christmasy!!! Do you remember using gingham ruffling jars etc. up as well by chance? That would help those that don’t have a drop cloth... I want a drop cloth!! That is a practical way of affordability! I’d like to also make my curtains out of it too!! II love every craft you create, so blessed to have you!
An easy way to remove stickers from glass is to heat it with a blow dryer. It softens the adhesive so that it peels off. It can be hot so I use tweezers to grab the sticker and pull.
I absolutely love the window. I, personally, would take the time to fill the gaps between the frames. Best diy channel I've seen by far, judging from this video!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ LOVE EVERYTHING !! NOW I GOTTA GET STUFF AND MAKE THESE. HOPE THEY LOOK GOOD AS YOURS. ❤❤ LOVE YOUR CHANNEL & THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR TALENTS. KAREN IN TENNESSEE
