My g shock has a CR2025 battery. It does not have the plastic removable part either. Is it a fake?

@@elijahinky after changing the battery you should take in hand tweezers and by one side of tweezers puch to AC dot at the board and by another side of tweezers to another place at the plate of a board for 2-3 seconds and time should reset to 00:00 (and flashlight will on). Something like this

2. Why did you used a plastic pinch to take the battery off, but a metal one to put on the new one?
black tool is a hard plastic stick

I wish I watched this video prior to attempting it. My heavy handed ness broke the battery clasp and now the watch won’t work. Not sure if this is a repairable item?

Just my two cents, but to get a better seals, wouldn't you want to criss cross those screws?
mine accidentally had that small spring pop up (not detach, just pop up)

The spring is supposed to be sticking out some. It is depressed by the back cover.

It's better if you do lubricant but not mandatory.
