Nice listening to people who are both intellectually stimulating about writing music.
I have been writing songs since high school. But I have stopped writing for a few years. I wasn't satisfied with my own songs and voice because there's always something that I want to achieve like a certain level or style of music that I've been hearing from different singers, but I couldn't. That's why this video is really helpful for me to go back to songwriting. Rico Blanco's words--"gawa lang nang gawa"--motivated me to move forward. Please continue doing videos like this. It inspires a lot.

Rico was my idol ever since I started listening to OPM when I was at grade 7!!! I was known to be weird in HS for having out of this world ideas and only certain people understands my language. Nakaka amaze po!!!! Totoo po yung sabi ni Mr. Rico na there is music playing at the back of his head. Cause me too was able to experience it while doing my math test hahahahahaha kaya yun bigla akong nahyhype sa mga naririnig ko hehe.

one of the best interviews ive seen about songwriting. also maybe this is the best interview of rico ive seen. i dont know, rico always looks forced on interviews but on this one he seems chill and it comes off as very honest. maybe because he is comfortable with the interviewer since you are friends and does the same craft.

Hello po ky Sir idol. Rico blanco Nanuod ako NG video interview nya dati sa ky Martin late at night they had a topic about pets I. Their house and he mentioned there about a song that he wrote entitled asna? Asong nakaw.. That he is planning to give to parokya coz its kinda funny song .. I got curious and I did search the Internet for that song but its not there.. I hope you can see my comment and maybe ask him about that song para mapakinggan naman nmn sana maalala nya pa sayang nmn kng hindi mapakinggan
